An Awesome and Hilarious Lost Muppets Blooper!

Postal - the 9/11 comedy (opening scene)

Constitutional_Patriot says...

It's ok to parody the tragic events in our lives after some time. That's been done for centuries. And this is actually an interesting and even funny parody... it's just very bad timing right now. 9/11 - (especially right now - during it's 6th anniversary) hits many of us very hard. Many questions about that day are still not answered because of a horrible and corrupt investigation process. I don't think it's the right time for such a parody. Too many of us are still grieving for the loss of many valiant and wonderful people that perished that day. Thanks for the quality of humor of the script but the impact of the reality of the situation breaks my heart too much to laugh.

Christian Fundamentalist Pop: "God Hates Fags"

jconli1 says...

FOLKS!

THIS IS A JOKE. THIS IS SATIRE. And unfortunately, its doing a very good job of exposing a lot of prejudice on the other side of the coin.

Look at his website, the band website, and the URL at the lead-in of the video. They're all clearly done at the same time by the same designer just for the launch of the video. Its a sociological viral video experiment.

In this day and age you really need to polish your crap detectors to a glossy shine. This is a very well executed, funny parody...

FWIW... the originators of the "God Hates Fags" slogan (Westboro Baptist) is also a crock... they're not a church, but rather just a group of lawyers scamming America to stir up lawsuits (settlements, more to the point) and cash out. They have no affiliation to any kind of church, and they're winning.

There is a very organized (in this video's case, lighthearted; in Westboro's case insidious) attempt to prey on the prejudices of the anti-religious, and you're all getting fleeced, and making hilariously uninformed speeches in the process.

Know your real enemy. Lighten up and learn to laugh at things that are very clearly so absurd they aren't true.

America We Stand as One

I'm not voting for this because it's embarrassing. I'm an American and I consider myself patriotic, yes... there is even a flag attached to my house. I'm not ashamed to say it. There's alot of very good ideals behind that flag.

This guy tho.. was this made as joke or some parody??? He's taking himself so seriously, I almost can't laugh at it. Oh, but I did tho!

Theo47 has a point about the differences between true "patriotism" and the "nationalism" that sfjocko calls, "flagfuck patriot sentiment". Quite the colorful phrase, sfjocko. I must admit I've not heard that one.

This video is painful to say-the-least, from the looks of his hair style, he comes across as one of those psuedo-christian rock/pop singers that still hasn't quite escaped the 80's.

Now he's trying one last ditch effort to tap into some middle America "red states" consumer demographic before he becomes a full fledged Christian youth center lounge lizard for hire, singing Petra covers.

Just superimpose someone say, like Will Ferrel, in his stead and you'll have a pretty funny parody.
