OLYMPIC SPORT EXPLANATION

2 Pissed off Women Drivers Going At It With Each Other

Trancecoach says...

The car in front is waiting for the spot that the car in back is pulling out of... The car in front (uncharacteristically) pulled in front of the car that's leaving (instead of behind it), probably so as not to back-up into oncoming traffic, but trying not to pull too far into the intersection or around the corner so as to lose the spot. To be sure, it's some shitty driving, all around (wimmen!), but I blame Giuliani, because, fuck that guy.
>> ^nomino:

I don't understand what the hell is going on. Was the front vehicle blocking the one behind it? This vehicle honks and all hell breaks loose? How does that make any sense?

>> ^EvilDeathBee:

I dunno about that. Someone slipping, smashing their head, causing them to die isn't something I'd put down as funny. Must be my strange, Australian sense of humour.

Sure, fuck that guy I don't know him. I hope everyone I don't know dies horribly and someone I know gets it on video so I can laugh forever!

Joe the Plumber is running for Congress.... here's his ad

budzos says...

This guy again. He became famous by lying about himself on TV (to president Obama, about how much money he earns, and about being a business owner). Of course he feels he belongs in congress. He just oozes brainpower, doesn't he? Fuck this guy!

Limp wrist? Break it, says pastor

EvilDeathBee says...

Fuck this guy. This simple minded cunt and the cunt-drones mindlessly going "amen", have no clue as to the damage they do, nor would they give a shit.

It'll take a few generations, but this sort of indoctrination will die away as their offspring eventually start to think for themselves. In the meantime, however, how many kids will get beaten and how many will commit suicide cause wank stains like this.

Huh. Dunno if I'd even be interested in the film, but these guys are kind of picking low-hanging fruit, all but declaring they hate it before the review even starts, and then base their reactions of the film by how far it deviates from their expectations.
At least Plinkett can put together well-thought out arguments presented with some some semblance of thought toward the media and its history and aesthetics. Boo.
EDIT: okay, I watched the entire thing (because if you're going to criticize something, you should know what you're talking about, right?)
This video seems more like a demo-reel for a couple of guys who wanted to make films for a living but missed the boat. Nearly all their criticism is inapplicable to the general viewer, or even most film critics, as it's so subjective to their own expectations, and devoid of any real critical appraisal.
I'm not even arguing that the film isn't bad. I wouldn't know, as it looked like shit and I never saw it, but this video is an embarrassment for any film critic, let alone these shit, failed, beer-mongering authors. These guys really piss me off, because there is 0% talent here, and 100% "let's leverage the internet popularity for our own gain" (Like: "Pick a shit movie and tell everyone how shit it is! We're genius!")
Fuck these guys.

Overreact much? Me thinks you missed the point. Also, the guy on the left IS Plinkett

What If "Star Wars: Episode I" Was Good?

The Cyclist's Revenge

Porksandwich says...

I try to keep an eye out for motorcycles, bikes, and cars. And there are people out there who just refuse to make it easy to see them in any one of those.

Cars who drive in blind spots for miles and miles and don't react when you signal your intentions for a good 30 seconds prior to actually doing what you are signalling. You know they are there, you are trying not to hit them and they are intentionally ignoring you or blocking you. These are usually aggressive drivers whose actions usually chain react right down the line of the cars and everyone gets the "fuck this guy" attitude for the next 20 minutes down the road.

Motorcycles who drive in blind spots, drive between two tall vehicles as they cross 2 lanes of traffic in a single move with no pause to check if the second lane is actually clear. Driving in the safety lanes or emergency lanes to pass traffic and merge in and out at will. Or do the "back and forth" while maintaining their lanes, so it looks like they are in a perpetual state of not being able to decide if they want to merge in the right or left lane and just pissing everyone off.

Bikes who go from sidewalk to road and back again, who rarely stop at stop signs....never use arm signals to show they are changing lanes. Go significantly below the speed of the rest of traffic and make it impossible to pass them safely. You'll see these guys holding up 15+ cars behind them doing 15-20 below the speed limit. I mean I don't expect them to perform like machines, but stop in a driveway or take a different route instead of holding up a huge line of cars over and over. No one would tolerate a car doing this for as long as the biker's get away with it around here.

And hell there's this lady in the neighborhood who jogs on the roads, despite there being a public park she's running around on her jog and her also running around a residential neighborhood with sidewalks throughout but she runs on the no sidewalk streets that have waaaaay more vehicle traffic than either the park or that neighborhood. The thinking is that she does it because she wants people to see her running, which is just another form of being fucking annoying. It's especially bad because the road has a really up and down section in it and you could literally come over the hill and run her ass over and there is nowhere to swerve due to deep ditches, mailboxes and huge trees on both sides. Or hit a car head on as they go out around her right before the hill.

It's just a general theme of everyone thinking their business/action is more important than yours. And generally I'll take it in stride for a bit, or let people fuck up some. But eventually you have to be an asshole back or other people start to do it too. A big example of this is when a two lane road merges down to one due to construction........you know it's there. Most everyone else who drives this path knows too. Except most of them stay in the lane that's going to merge in and drive just as far as they can down it and merge in at the last second....making everyone who merged over like they should wait......and wait......and wait. Because more people drive up and merge. Eventually those people trying to merge are blocked unless they can shove their vehicle in the spaces and people are unwilling to take damage to their vehicles to stop them...but it cuts down on the rest of the assholes who keep doing it because it makes that lane slower again by restricting people's merging ability by being an asshole to them.

And, in this video. Guy in silver car on right was an asshole...totally crowding the car before he crowded the bicycle. So......bicycle guy was probably in the right doing what he did.

Mitt Romney caught with millions stashed in offshore banks

shinyblurry says...

What you're saying here is demonstrating the problem I was speaking about earlier. You bought the narrative of the story but failed to investigate the facts. Romney is paying the same tax on that money that he would if it were invested in the USA. He hasn't done anything illegal. The cayman island *used* to be a tax haven, which is why there is this stigma. It isn't anymore. The banks fully cooperate with the IRS. Romney could have the money there simply to attact foreign investors. Do you think that no one is allowed to invest their money anywhere but in the United States?

Here is a statement his campaign released..he doesn't even control the fund that invested that money:

"The Romneys' investments in funds established in the Cayman Islands are taxed in the very same way they would be if the Romneys held their shares of the fund investments directly in the US rather than through a Cayman fund.

Nothing is changed from four years ago in relation to these funds. Governor and Mrs. Romney's assets are managed on a blind basis. They do not control the investment of these assets. The assets are under the control and overall management of an independent trustee.

Furthermore, only the sponsor of the fund decides where it is established. That responsibility is totally outside the control of a passive investor like Gov. Romney or the trustee of this blind trust.

Also, in regards to the Unrelated Business Income Tax: Governor Romney’s IRA is tax deferred, just like the IRA’s of every other American. Its investments are in compliance with rules created to keep it tax deferred, just like it was intended to be."

I wouldn't vote for Romney but the story itself is deliberately portrayed as if Romney has done something illeagl, which he hasn't. They're counting on people not to investigate the facts, which is why I came to state what they are.

The guy is running for President of The United States and yet he is evading taxation on the wealth he has generated in our country. (leaving aside the fact that a lot of it came from other people's misery)
Yes, I have an enormous fucking problem with that as do most people in this country.
He's not just your average rich fucker, he's the guy who is running for POTUS. How can you NOT have a problem with him doing this shit? He obviously doesn't give enough of a fuck about the citizens to pay his fair share. He's bilking this country, and firing scores of people his entire life. Fuck this guy in the face.

Louis C.K. Discusses Tracy Morgan's Homophobic Comments

Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag. (show it anyway)

This kind of thoughtful reply is all too rare on the Internet - and I'm proud that it's here on VideoSift.>> ^FlowersInHisHair:

@TheFreak @Yogi
Er, yeah, wow, I've been a bit of an idiot. It's surprising to find oneself called a reactionary, but that is indeed what my comment was, and you two are right to call me on it. But my initial reaction was just that - another homophobe, another joke about gay kids being murdered for their sexual identity, fuck that guy. But my initial reaction isn't the end of my thinking on the subject, so forgive me my knee-jerk reaction and allow me if you will to claw back a little bit of my reasonableness.
I agree with Louis that the gay community has missed the opportunity to ask Tracy Morgan why he feels the way he feels about gay men - such dialogue would be helpful in highlighting some of the attitudes people have to effeminately-voiced gay men. Since my speaking voice is not effeminate, many people don't guess that I'm gay on first meeting me, and in the period before they do realise (which is usually when I get drunk on pink cocktails and start talking about Sondheim), I've put up with a lot of blokey jokes about gays, and have witnessed the shift in men's attitudes when they realise that a gay man is in their midst. The gay jokes dry up immediately, which is kind of a shame because I enjoy offensive jokes of all kinds, and can usually counter jokes about "queers" with equal numbers of jokes about "breeders". I've noticed first-hand the difference in the way that people regard non-obvious gay men like me, and the way they treat the more effeminate and flamboyant members of (er) "my tribe". I've been explicitly told that I'm not included when they criticise gays, because I'm "straight enough". Sigh!
What I've realised is that, in a way, I'm more supportive of Tracy Morgan's joke than I am of Louis's rationalisation of it. Tracy Morgan can make such a joke if he chooses, and I can think him a sad man with backwards views on masculinity if I choose. Where I disagree with Louis is that he sees Tracy Morgan's joke as a kind of "progress" towards acceptance, but I don't see how making jokes about killing his gay son doesn't sound like he's "trying to figure out" gay male masculinity or that he's somehow less homophobic for qualifying precisely what it is that makes him want to stab some gays as opposed to stabbing all of them.

you could allso probably sum up allot of what he is saying in 1/5th of the time blody anoying.

good sift !

also a basic digram would probably make it allot easer to understand what he is saying with some pionts in maby 10 seconds , as aposed to 10 minutes of blabbing as he is going all over the place.
