Weird Al Yankovic-One More Minute - Social Distancing Anthem
Wish I could upvote 1000 times! Favorite song from my childhood...

Thank you for the quality! I have been on an exploration of electronic musicians. Lately, it has been females thanks to Sarah Angliss. It kicked off with a Siouxsie and the Banshees video with the drummer playing with an instrument named the waterphone during an interview. I noted the date of the interview and found out that it was used on a track on a 12" single that I have in my collection. I have not listened to since it for ages since I no longer have a turntable. It happens to be one of my favorite songs from them. Then I remembered that I discovered that instrument here many moons ago. I have added Current 93 to my list of music to check out. Thanks!
Reminds me of Current 93....*quality weirdness
Dead Puppies - Ogden Edsl
Both this song and fish heads have been burned into my brain from my years of listening to Dr Demento as a kid. This one was by far my favorite song from his show.

@ChaosEngine
hehe, specifically it was a dude i was in boot camp with.he was a massive hendrix and zeppelin fan and was not into sabbath.which of course our first liberty we both got drunk and traded our favorite songs from both bands.
but i even heard it when i moved to jacksonville florida.everybody told me that zeppelin were the masters of metal and sabbath were only good for a couple of songs.
say whaaaaaaaa?
i had to show them the error of their ways.
Man sings "Cat's In The Cradle" in tribute to dying Father
I get that it's the first song he played, but it's still kind of an odd song to sing to your dying father.
Reminds me of a story I heard where a bride sang Pearl Jam's "Betterman" to her new husband at their wedding because it was his favorite song....
listen to the lyrics , people!
NOFX: Creeping Out Sara
I was backstage at a festival in Germany
talking to a cute fair skinned brunette
I asked her if she wanted to have a beer and if she liked our set
I noticed that her hair was longer in the back
I figure that’s cuz she’s Canadian
That’s why I was surprised when she told me she was fully lesbian
That's when I realized it was Sara, or maybe it was Tegan
I'm pretty sure that it was Sara
Cause Johnny Sampson said she was the cooler one
I told her I was a big fan of her band
She asked me if I had a favorite song
I admitted that I'd never actually heard them, but I like k.d. lang
I told her this Jew knows about the Juno’s
And how they got robbed three times in a row
And then I asked her if she knew of anyone who was selling pills or blow
That's when I creeped out Sara or maybe I just pissed her off
When I asked her if her sister and her had ever had a threesome?
Where they both ganged up one girl, a forgy or a fivesome?
Do they think strap-ons are groovy, and had they ever seen the movie
Bound and did they like Jennifer Tilly, did they like Jennifer Tilly?
Sara said she preferred Gina Gershon, Angelina Jolie
In the Gia movie that was on HBO
And “If These Walls Could Talk” made Tegan cry a lot
After that I forgot what she said
That's the problem with Diazepam, so many things I don't remember
But I've got a sinking feeling, it's not that I'm a clairvoyant
But I think that I creeped out Sara, I was creeping out on Sara
I hope it wasn't Tegan, cuz Matt Skiba said she is the cooler one

This is one of my all-time favorite songs, seriously. I have the full-length on vinyl and play it pretty regularly at a weekly "Bring Your Own Vinyl Night" I host at my neighborhood bar.

Boss D.J. - Sublime
We're pure intelligence, you're not. You're the biological product of a
cosmological universe. You're molecular matter, I constructed you, fuck you.
I made you up, you didn't make me up, you got it backwards.
You know who
you are? You're fuckin' semantic blockage, that's what made you up. You're
a fuckin' programmer named Christine Gontara.
Favorite song off this album is "Steppin' Razor": https://youtu.be/73ZprL_ZKxI
Nightwish - Storytime (Live at Wacken Open Air 2013)
Nightwish used to be my favorite band as a teenager. I stopped listening to them about the time they gained mainstream popularity, when they released two albums I didn't like very much and then got a new lead singer who had a very different voice. I recently found out that they have yet again changed their singer and I really like their new album. She has an amazing voice, which in my opinion fits their sound much better than the previous one.

Whiter Shade of Pale - Procol Harum
Ah, one of the all-time great singles of the rock era. So mature, yet it was their first single. I envy those hearing this for the first time (and they're just kids in this video... kids!). One of Paul McCartney's favorite songs:
McCartney: "It's got to be "A Whiter Shade of Pale." The first time I ever heard it was the night I met Linda. We met at the Bag O' Nails, and we went on to the Speakeasy, and they played the record of it there. We were with Keith Moon of the Who and Eric Burdon of the Animals, and we were all trying to figure out who it was. We all thought it must be Stevie Winwood, but it turned out to be Procol Harum. We just said, 'This is the best song ever, man.'"
