New Iron Man Trailer
>> ^Ryjkyj:
Could it be possible that Hollywood didn't screw up a comic book movie?
And here I've been wondering "Can they actually turn Iron Man into an entertaining story and character?"
They've been doing fairly well with comic movies in the last few years. Spider-man and X-Men both had great 1st and 2nd movies followed by 3rds that paled in comparison, but weren't bad. The Punisher was well done. 300 was well done. Batman Begins was excellent. V for Vendetta was excellent. Sin City was pretty good.
On the flip side you've got Hulk, Superman Returns, Elektra, Ghost Rider and the Fantastic Four movies. But then the Hulk, Superman, Elektra, Ghost Rider and the Fantastic Four are some of the lamest comic properties around, so it should be expected that the movies would suck.
Then there's Daredevil. Daredevil could have been good but was poorly done and poorly cast. Whether you like Ben or not, he's not DD.
Gary Busey Mauls Jennifer Garner
So Gary is a big Alias fan? Cut him a break! He's an Elektra-fying actor in his own right, and since he's not 13 going on 30 anymore, he has to take whatever hugs and kisses he can get! Besides, it wasn't anything serious, he was just practicing Catch and Release!
Keep it up, Gary, you'll always be a Daredevil when it comes to the ladies!
The Doors: G L O R I A
OK, people, I guess I have to stand up for this one...
This is Jim Morrison in his prime. He's is off the wall with Van Morrison's 'Gloria' which is probably the most covered rock standard ever. Released 17 years after his death in Elektra's concert compilation 'Alive, She Cried' the video shows Morrison's wanton craziness which fueled both his life and death. If you've ever called yourself a fan of Classic Rock, then this one deserves your vote.
And thank you, daphne. Rock On!
