Zero Punctuation: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
This game currently owns all my free time. My jaw drops at some of the situations I get into, we're talking some seriously thought out quests. Polished is the norm and the bugs I've found are not even close to game breakers. (pc) The only issue I have is, (same as Yahtzee's) the fact that healing/stamina potions and a good weap are all you really need. At level 25 now and can clear mostly any dungeon I find with too much ease. Gonna go full cater next and see how that plays though.
Skyrim timelapse: "World in Motion"
Yeah the game is pretty, but the gameplay is shitty. Go here, explore another rather generic dungeon, retrieve mediocre randomly generated loot, and repeat over and over again. Why should I go trekking half away across Skyrim for you, some random person whom I've just met for 5 seconds?
And playing as a mage, the combat just plain sucks. I just stand there while my follower tanks, and spam firebolt. Its about as interactive as a MMO, and this is on expert difficulty. Got the game against my better judgement, despite hating Oblivion, and now I'm 25 levels in and have no motivation to continue.
"Blame" - (POWERFUL Samuel L. Jackson Anti-Gun PSA)
There is a hell of a big difference between fantasy and reality. Trying to equate the two in any topical debate about any impassioned modern problem and it will turn into a circle of debate fired on by the blathers-kites that would idiotically decide to argue any of it's points. A circus of clowns?
If you argue to be swayed by the things that don't exist you in fact give away detail of your mind and psychologically, a stronger suite of knowledge that in fact--ironically--makes you more susceptible to do exactly what Samuel was warning against. Samuel is talking about control, and finding help or gaining control so that you will not commit these crimes. But, if you watch the movies and give into them you become quite unstable and out of control; no matter what you think.
Fantasy in control of reality is quite the joke, but some see to think we should be worried and I have to wonder why? All I can say is go see a psychiatrist soon.
This goes back to Video Games, Rock & Roll, Dancing, Dungeons and Dragons, Movies, The Internet, etc--all of which were the ultimate undoing of our youth, and in quite a few of these cases it did exactly the opposite of what was said. The opposing view always have the exact same type of psychological profile.
World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria (Preview Trailer)
@Sarzy
I actually re-activated my account a couple weeks ago, and I've been playing through the "Cataclysm" content with some friends, but this is actually going to send me away from WoW, possibly for good.
It actually has nothing to do with the zones, to be honest I think that's kinda cool. But the fact that the Pandas can join either faction seems kinda meh to me in the first place, but they're also once again streamlining the game so that it's again got far less choices.
WoW has gotten progressively easier over the years, some changes for the better, some obviously just to make it easier. Mounts acquired at far lower levels and lowered cost, dungeons streamlined to be made shorter, and far easier, flying mounts in Azeroth, and finally the biggest one, they completely re-vamped the talent system, giving spells you'd normally get at level 60 at level 10.
Now, with this expansion, they're once again re-vamping the talent trees so that instead of having your 31 points (reduced from something like 70 points) they're once again reducing that to about.. 10-15, Essentially forcing you to play a certain style and once again making the game rediculously easier.
Diablo III Black Soulstone Cinematic
The design of Azmodan reminds me of a mix between Durial, Baal and the Bile Demon from Dungeon Keeper. Cool cool.
World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria (Preview Trailer)
Yeah, I don't know why people are reacting badly to this. The Panderen have been part of the brewfest and we've known they exist, so no surprise they finally made them playable.
I personally don't know if it will bring me back. If Star Wars: The Old Republic sucks, then I may come back after this comes out... and I activated a free account to play with off and on for now since my regular account is deactivated.
I look forward to Diablo III more at the moment, thanks to SW:TOR, but if it wasn't for that, I would probably be more excited. I do PVE only, I don't do dungeons and certainly never raids, and hate PVP, so some of the other upcoming games are of little interest to me. WoW is the only MMO that has any appeal to solo PVE players, the others seem to favor PVP or dungeons and raids with groups (I guess one would say I should look at Elder Scrolls or Dragon Age, but I like how WoW plays more). I really wish they were releasing information on Titan this year though... even a tease would do for now, but they said they aren't ready to do anything about that yet.

Joseph Wilson about Cheney's Defense of Iraq War
Someone should honor Cheney with a lifetime achievement award, to be presented at a ceremony of magistrates in The Netherlands....
When he shows up to claim his "prize," a war crimes tribunal can be held and the man can rot for the rest of his pitiful days in a dank dark dungeon in the fucking Hague.
MineCrysis
This reminds me of Dungeon Keeper. Man that was a good game, I want a new Dungeon Keeper game dammit!
