The Truth About Popular Music
Measurably less intelligent. Nice summary. Starts as a rant but gets deeper.
Mercury at 4:00 and 5:33. Gold.
Also appearing: Frank Zappa.
I could not care less about "pop music" as such, but why cant there be even just one radio station run by someone competent to pick music?
Disclaimer: I like the first Coldplay album.
Kawehi covers Closer by NIN
I was about to post a "not another trendy crybaby giving a song with balls a "coldplay" treatment" complaint.
But this is actually cool.

Welcome to London - Short Hyperlapse Film
Perhaps Coldplay's lawyers got at it? The replacement I found (linked from but not posted to his yt channel btw!) is missing the music.
It's not quite the same without it, either

Bono on His Dad's Final Days
I'm not a big U2 fan at all, but a bunch of friends were going to Slane so I actually saw them perform about 4 days after his dad died.
I can take or leave their music, but christ they can put on a show. And when he dedicated "Kite" to his dad, it was a pretty epic moment.
At least, that's how I remember it, but I was stoned out of my tree. Also, Coldplay played earlier and confirmed my suspicions that they were absolutely amazing...ly fucking awful. Seriously, fuck coldplay.
So in conclusion, that artist does not know how to draw a pint of Guinness!
Mitch Benn - Everything sounds like Coldplay now
coldplay needs to be deaded.
Elders React to Dubstep
This is the equivalent of showing somebody who has never heard any rock music some Coldplay and Nickelback, and then asking them what the think of the genre. It saddens me that Skrillex and his ilk have abducted this word for their own brand of hyper aggressive testosterone fueled noise.
What we really have hear is "Elders react to Skrillex" and honestly their opinions don't really differ from a lot of 20yr olds

Coldplay's Tribute to MCA - Fight For Your Right
That was class. Whatever you think of Coldplay. That was good stuff.
Never, Ever Give Up. Arthur's Inspirational Transformation!
Holy Shit that Coldplay cover was the most atrocious thing I've ever heard! And was that the Third Eagle of the Apocalypse at 0:58?
Okay, now that I've got my petty gripes and sarc out of the way I can fully bask in the awesome feelgoodness of this story.

Oh, is that who does that song? Funny part is a recognized the song, but I know it from the a cappella band Straight, No Chaser. Their version rocks.
Actually I really like Coldplay's version, but it's fashionable to knock them. Not keen on much of Coldplay's stuff but this is one of best.
