Oh man... LMFAHS... Tears of laughter... Laura Cohan (Maggie from Walking Dead) did something freaking hilarious.

Aisha Tyler is the new host. I expected worse than Drew Carey, which I thought was impossible, and I was right; she's doing alright so far. But of course she's no Clive Anderson. But then, no one is.

Love Ryan most of all. Can't wait for the new episodes to start TONIGHT on the CW!

Clive Anderson was by far the best host of Whose Line ever.

I always thought it was odd without Clive Anderson

Looks like Aisha Tyler will be hosting. So that should actually be a good addition.

If you like her style of humor in Archer the you should be happy with her "hosting" a show that doesn't really need all that much hosting. The host on this show really just transitions between skits and laughs at stuff, often the butt of the players' jokes. (See: Clive Anderson and numerous amount of bald jokes he had to deal with!)

Nice touch with the "Whose Language is it Anyway" for Clive Anderson inside joke there!

I completely disagree, he was laughing quite a lot at anderson's asides (which were, let's be honest, quite funny.. assuming you can see past the fact that it is clive anderson), he seemed quite relaxed. They got on really well, so i don't really see where you're coming from at all. There were a few chatty unscripted jokes that went well.

Checked all the boxes for me. He seemed a little quiet and/or shy, but it was clear to me they enjoyed each other's company. Perhaps he did it as a favour to anderson (as they seem to know each other) but didn't really want to.

Americans just don't see enough of clive anderson to get over the fact that he's an instantly annoying tit. Once you're past the Clive-Annoyance-Threshhold as it's known in mathematical circles, you start to be able to laugh at his jokes, which are often very witty.

I have never seen a Clive Anderson interview that is anything short of a disaster.

Hah, I saw this a couple of weeks ago, thought about sifting it, but i'm not too hot on the Bill Hicks thing. This is a cool interview, even though Clive Anderson is a wanker. Best thing he ever did was interview the Bee Gees and make Maurice Gibbs walk off set. Maybe I should go look for that...

The original WLIIA was OK, but inferior to the American version which had better general pacing and more consistent humor. If you don't get it then you don't get improv comedy. Go to the doctor and have them replace your missing funny bone. WLIIA was 500% more funny than anything on TV when it was airing and about 1000% funnier than anything on TV today. I watched the British WLIIA on the old Comedy channel, and it was sometimes brilliant and sometimes torturously lame. Every time John Sessions opened his mouth it was painfully bad. The American version had its moments where the quality dipped, but by and large it was hilarious. More so than the British version. The only thing the British version has that is undoubtedly superior is CLIVE ANDERSON as the host. If the American version had Clive instead of Drew as the host it would have been perfect.

Yeah, it did. Matter of fact, I watched the brit version of who's line is it anyway long before it became popular and came to the states (which was later remade with Drew Carey as host).

The original with Clive Anderson was better in some ways. Especially with the "helping hands" bit they did quite a lot. My favorite pair were Josie lawrence and that other guy that had the slicked back black hair. They were frequently just-raunchy-enough to keep it hilarious. The other cast members were also just as brilliant.

Drew Carey's "Who's line?" is good too, but there's nothing like the original.
