Damn right. Good thing Goggle's there's to protect us from all the tracking

In case you're interested, I use a plugin to redirect youtube, instagram, and a few others to alternative sources that at least claim to respect your privacy a bit more.

It doesn't work a significant percent of the time, but it works well enough for me.

The one I use is Privacy Redirect (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/privacy-redirect/pmcmeagblkinmogikoikkdjiligflglb?ucbcb=1) but I'm sure there are plenty of others.

F1 Double Pitstop

The first car had a set of scrubbed tires put on, the 2nd car had new tires put on. All the tires look like the 2nd set when new because the molds that are used to create the tires are chrome plated.

Why the new tires of the 2nd car were so shiny, almost like covered in plastic?

Also, is anyone else having problems with the bookmarklet not working in Chrome? I have 3rd party cookies enabled and I whitelisted this site but it just does the endless login when I try to submit a video. Firefox works just fine.

Missing Cat Special (a YouTube playlist)

Nothing loads on my end. Chrome asked to enable Flash for this site, but after that I can't get anything to show up. So if this was a playlist, they may not work on VS...

RFlagg says...

"Your browser does not currently recognize any of the video formats available." - Chrome on this page, but opens fine in Firefox, and if I copy/paste the main YouTube's page, it works fine as well. Not sure if this is a sift bug, a YouTube bug, or a Chrome bug.

CrushBug says...

I have a plug-in for Chrome that turns "millennials" into "snake people" and my internet is a better place. What I got to see of your post was:

"Snake people, yawn."

yep chrome and i think its happening on no particular sift page. Just random. A simple refresh gets past it. Never happens twice in a row. Also seemed to be a bit worst last night. Not happening as often today, but still happening.

Hmm, weird. I haven't experienced it. Is it just on submitting or on other places too? Ant are you still on Seamonkey? Eric - I'm assuming Chrome?

6 Secrets Google DON'T Want You To Know

Sagemind says...

While non of these things are remotely good things, none of this is mind blowing. I think just about everyone who uses Google knows these things but chooses to ignore it.
Also, are you using Chrome? Then you give them exclusive access to everything you do on the web, not just through google search, because Chrome IS Google.
