Controversy Over Girls Doing Beyonce Dance (Video)
I think this thread is proof that the Lady Gaga et al. brainwashing is working. Someone is using pop culture to brainwash society into thinking girls are just meant for sex, at any age. The idea that anyone would allow young girls to dress "up like strippers and having them perform pelvic thrusts at each other," let alone DEFEND others for doing it, blows my mind. You can choreograph a real nice professional dance without lingerie and hip thrusts.
THIS IS SEXUALIZING CHILDREN.
Whatever, I'm not having children. Do whatever you want to future generations.
Dancer in tiger costume messes around during ballet recital
The stage manager wouldn't have cared in the slightest I would imagine. The choreographer would have been shitting bricks though.
Royal Navy Field Gun Competition
That was absolutely awesome. I love these kinds of sports where it's a carefully choreographed team effort that takes constant repetition in training all for a single make-or-break run. No room for individual show-boating there.
Sam Rockwell (as Chuck Barris) Thinks He Can Dance!
Remember his turn in Galaxy Quest? I think that was around the same time as The Green Mile - you couldn't get two roles that were more different.

I'm -almost- ashamed to admit that I had to go check to see if he really was the guy in Moon. And then I discovered the other movies I'd seen with him in them, particularly The Green Mile and Safemen. He's certainly a damned fine actor.
He might not be a professional-quality dancer, but if not, he's definitely at the peak of amateur levels. Actually, thinking about it while typing this out, I suspect the "flaws" I think I see in this clip may be more choreographical in nature than weaknesses in his dancing.

Having recently watched "Moon" I'm suddenly aware that this guy is an amazing actor. I now want to go back and watch (and re-watch) his movies.
Also, this music makes me happy.
Mr. Fantastic aka Robert Muraine - World of Dance Tour 2009
He could do with a choreographer.
JULIAN SMITH - Techno Jeep
The only thing that keeps me from upvoting is that it just seems somehow, I don't know...insincere? Disingenuous?
It seems like they're trying to make it seem like a live performance, when it clearly isn't. I think I would have preferred they drop the pretense of the "live single wide shot" in favor of more cuts of the component sounds.
On the other hand, the actors are impressively choreographed to the mix, and it's a reasonably catchy tune that does seem legitimately comprised of samples from the Jeep, so...alright. Upvote it is.
Poker Face - A Cappella

(1:53) haha
Awesome, but oh God...2:16.
One has to wonder how much time they spent choreographing this thing.
Mindblowing cigar-box juggler
That was amazing! I swear to God it looked like there was a pair of arms behind him.
Choreographing that routine to hide his hands with the boxes and then swoop them out of nowhere is very impressive.
It was like a magic trick.
Observe The Wild Guido Mating Dance In It's Natural Habitat
When it happens in a romantic teen movie: "unrealistic; too well-choreographed; could never happen in real life"
When it happens in real life: "OMG, the end is nigh! The species is doomed!"
Lip Dub - I Gotta Feeling - UQAM (4:54)
This had to carefully planned and choreographed. The logistics of coordinating the movements of 172 participants was amazing. I'm impressed.
And Budzos "fuck this song"?? Welcome to Jimmy Kimmel's "This week in unnecessary comments"
Kid Puts Bully In His Place!
Could have done without the six or seven dozen pre-teen screechy girl voices, but the ending was very well choreographed. Decent acting, good directing, but badly produced. I'd give it 3.8 out of 5 stars.
Kanye Insults Taylor Swift at VMAs
Wow, just Wow!
Where to start. Kanye isn't a musician. Musicians create and perform music, Kanye samples and distorts the work of others and calls it his own. His work is like going to the Louvre and photographing real works of art, making a collage and then espousing about how great you are to have done it all.
Beyonce's video, all I can say is it's nice to know that strippers will always have a future as hip-hop choreographers. All that was missing was the friggin' brass pole.
Now, Taylor Swift, I have a hard time believing that any 19 year-old deserves the accolades she receives. Her entire career wreaks of corporate manipulation. Her bio sounds like a made for TV movie. She's a wonder of marketing, just like 99.9% of all the popular artists around. Maybe if she was homely I'd believe she's as talented as she's portrayed.
The modern music industry is garbage, regardless of how popular it is. Image has replaced talent, and computer processing has replaced hard work and skill.
And the VMA's are a testament to how far music has fallen.

Living With Michael Jackson (Full Documentary)
^
Spot on.
I watched the whole thing. The one thing which is really really fascinating for me is the facial expressions he makes. Seeing him outside of the highly choreographed videos/performances we usually saw him in really humanizes him in a way that I don't think is possible through his music. A very very different (and as you pointed out sad) side of the man.
In a strange way, watching this today made me feel a lot more empathy for him than any of the bullshit media barrage over the last week.
