Coming to America - The King Has Entered the Building (1988)

probie says...

Saw this in the theaters years ago and made the embarrassing faux pas of yelling out "48 Hours!" when the Dukes made their cameo. This was made all the worse by my friend who followed with "It's Trading Places, you dummy!", and a round of laughter by the audience. To this day, I still haven't found a theater seat as deep as the one I was sitting in that night.

The Amazing Spider-Man - Trailer

Bad, bad, bad.

I know Spider-man 3 was a big letdown (at best) but we really didn't need to start over from scratch. They could have just made Spider-man 4 and taken it in a new direction, even with new cast if they felt that was necessary (I don't) without telling the whole origin story over again. And Denis fucking Leary? He should stick to cameos and voicing cartoon characters.

I'm glad I was never really into Spider-man.

Ricky Gervais and Steve Carell's New Showdown

So in this show, there's celebrity cameo appearances, allowing for Ricky to say things that make him appear like a bit of a dick?
Whaddaya mean he's run out of ideas?!?

I think that's how he enjoys writing the characters he plays and ultimately when he plays himself, like he's an egoistic bastard who likes the sound of his own voice. He even acts like that in interviews and a lot of people would be forgiven for thinking he really is an arrogant asshole. But when you really get him talking on a subject, you realise that he's a very philosophical, kind man And that's why I still love slightly shite clips like this, he's just pushing this false persona and seeing how long it takes people to bite!
