When he took a brief break I walked up to his drums and took the sticks he had been playing with. I'll never forget that night. He was the greatest.

i thought the buddy rich piece held up well against the test of time, but i may be biased. he was rocking out pretty hard. shades of keith moon (of the who) and others from later eras.

I really like these old jazz videos. It's a shame, however, that the synchronization was off. It was particularly apparent when the camera was on Buddy Rich. I'll vote it up, but I wish the quality was better.
