As for unforgiving, the first rule you learn in EVE is that you never, ever fly anything that you cannot afford to lose. When your ship explodes, it and most of it's equipment are gone forever. Anything that may have survived is picked up by whoever killed you. The second rule is that you always buy a new clone every time you die or you will begin losing experience. EVE is different in that regard because experience is time-based, not activity based. So if you die without a clone, you might lose a day, a week, or a month's worth of training time.

No kidding. Seeing the difficult few moments of that Battletoads level brought back awful memories. Kids today - spoiled by infinite continues and auto-recharge health bars. Back in my day we got three lives if we were lucky, and we were happy to have them!

Haha, this is great. I used to get into huge fights with my best friend when I was a kid playing battletoads 2 player... god damn wrecking ball...

It was a brilliant review just because the guitar player who sings the AVGN's theme song actually helps in the review... I thought it was more of an episode for him than it was for battletoads...

Hum, I completed battletoads with my friend when we were around 10 years old, don't remember it being all THAT hard

Although it's been around 16 years after that, time could've smoothened up the pain =)
