I always love the awkward look on people's face when they think they are being smart or clever and are "totally going to show someone up when they ask this question" and then they sit there all awkward and are internally crying or raging as it just didn't go they way they thought it would at all.

I've been downloading this lately, though not super impressed with it, what in the hell was up with this segment last night? Why does Bill Maher hate Colbert so much? There were some awkward and depressing exchanges to watch in this interview, and I understood none of it.

It's hilarious just how bad that design really is for use. That butt spike would be more dangerous to the wielder than the victim and it seems to be the reason why most of their strikes look awkward.

Obviously it still represents some people in reality, but I think this was just a stupid staging for the sake of amusing people at the expense of someone's awkwardness.

I don't know if Ulysses is male or female for sure. It is just a guess that that avatar and that name makes that person male.

I have a gender neutral name and my avatar is a tribute to my father who died two months ago. So you can't tell my gender from the information presented here.

Yes, human tend to gravitate towards distinct groups.
The terms coined would be In-groups or Out-groups.

In terms of society, people who socialize in non-normative ways are stigmatized as part of an Out-group. Any fringe culture.

e.g. - Those weirdo who can only make friends online.


However, for all us interweb nerds. Befriending stranger online IS the norm.

So we become the In-group, and those cocky extroverted socialite types are the Out-group.

This is effectively what's happening when you try to merge two circles of friends and they awkward reject one another.


So more or less.. no, "general" wholly inclusive friendships or In-group are not a thing.

You would all need one common thread.
Somewhere those threads would begin to divert too much and that circle would close ranks.

Hence, why Utopia is impossible.
