Cee Lo's Fuck You in Sign Language, SO Cool!
>> ^dystopianfuturetoday:
It also seems that there is no sign for 'niggah'. Are there racist or demeaning signs? Just curious.
I don't know any sign language, but from the quick movements, I think that there was probably no word for "Atari" either, so it was spelt out.
Commodore 64 Crack Intro Collection

I ditched the C64 about 1985 and went to the Atari ST, then ditched that in 1988 for IBM PC AT 8mhz (overclocked to TEN!) It's weird to see C64 stuff with 1989 dates!
Just FYI: The C64 is still alive. A brand new game is about to launch. It has been in development for the past 20 years. It is supposed to be one of the biggest and best C-RPGs ever.

So there will be a AAA C64 title launched in 2011

I'm gonna guess that the ones listing their phone # are not around anymore....
I know Fairlight lasted a while, and we didn't see a demo from them but greets were put out to Razor, although I'm not sure the current Razor is any more Razor than the current Atari is Atari..

Seems like the C64 cracking community was on fire in around 86-87>> ^deathcow:

First 3D videogame? I, Robot (1983)
Via reddit user visionik:
"This game was a technology masterpiece in its day. The 3D engine was originally implemented with TTL logic chips (lots of little individual logic chips put together to make a 3D engine).
It was a technology masterpiece but a financial flop. Only about 1,000 were made, and only about 500 were sold. They did not do well commercially for three reasons:
* the "newfangled" 3D nature actually confused many players.
* the hardware was not reliable. RAM chips, ROM chips, and the special "hall effect" joystick all tended to die quickly.
* The arcade game market crashed in 1984 shortly after its release.
Due to the limited production run and almost 100% hardware failure rate in the first two years, very, very few I, Robot arcade games still exist. I am fortunate enough to own one - and it is a complete bitch to keep it running properly.
Despite the troubles it is an extremely enjoyable game to play.
The software was created by Dave Theurer - who previously coded Atari's 1981 hit, Tempest.
The hardware was designed by Dave Sherman.

Windows 95 "Start Me Up" Commercial (1995)
windows 95 was actualy exciting.
to some exstent windows 7 had a degree of the same excitment , but windows 5 was where it was at having used windows 3.1 and other OS's such as the one on the atari ST and C64 , win 95 was pritty cool. allso i think when your yonger everything seems way more cool and not just a fractul repititoin of the same thing over and over again.
saying all that xp was good as well , but it was not realy exciting it was more of the same sort of thing as when getting win 7 , just a upgrade that was necaccery.
i think my first fully owned pc was win 98 with a voodoo 2 300mhz lol !

Atari 2600 rocked!!![](https://videosift.com/vs5/emoticon/smile.gif)
235 Free Indie Games in 10 Minutes.
I highly recommend Gang Garrison 2. It's what you'd get if TF2 made sweet, sweet love to an Atari 2600, with some rocking online multiplayer thrown in for good measure. Pretty slick parody as well in some places. It's a tiny download; CTF, CP, Arena, and I want to say KOTH are all modes that are present.
Speaking of 2d multiplayer shooters, Soldat is another goody. An amazing 2d shooter with mechanics & weapons from Quake, Counterstrike, and Starsiege: Tribes all wrapped in a sexy 2d physics/particle engine with multiple modes.
E3 Trailer - Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

I played AC & AC2 to the PC, not a console person either .. and all that DRM effort Ubisoft put in didnt do them any good, they've all been broken by hacker groups. AC2 took a while before it was cracked, but it fell just like any other title.

Looks nice, but will the game be fun? I heard the first game was repetitve, bloated, etc.
Correct .. the first one was more of a nice looking prototype then a game. However, Assasins Creed 2 perfected it. If you havent already played AC2, then I strongly reccommend that you pick it up. Well crafted through and through. You should be able to jump straight into it without having played the first one and still enjoy it immensly.

Probably the same one.>> ^Sketch:
I wonder what kind of rushed out shovelware Atari 2600 game would be sitting in a landfill right now, based on this version.
