Fox Attacks: Bloggers

zeth_rb says...

I upvoted because I have as much respect for Foxnews, CNN, MSNBC, Headline News, The New York Times, New York Post, Washington Post, Associated Press, Al Jazeera, Reuters, etc. as I do for bloggers, lots of sh!t and little truth. Oh my, they attacked bloggers, and bloggers would never attack news stations of any kind, NO! They attack bloggers and bloggers attack news stations, of course they don't like each other! (Please feel free to add to the list of news stations, networks, bloggers, foroums, and other such news hubs, I'd like to know what you do or don't trust.) Oh I trust almost every government in the world except for North Korea and The Church of Scientology because they would never tell us anything untrue . Corporations, Organizations, Non-Profit Organizations, that go after the governments and corporations. You get the point.

Everyone has an agenda, everyone.

Oh yeah everything Foxnews said was true and false. Just as everything bloggers say is true and false.

here's a perfect example of diversion, keeping someone happy as a clam to think they are somehow superior to a so-called conservative..
"Because most conservatives don't bother to learn the truth unless Fox News spoon feeds it to them."

FUCK FOX NEWS!!! FOX NEWS IS A TOOL, YOU ARROGANT SYMBOL-ADDICTED MONKEYS!!!

just like YOUR favorite news organization, is a tool, just like the candidate you think will do best, is a tool.......

fox news is not news at all
Associated press, reuters, tools
cnn is not news at all
msnbc, major networks....they are tools in the hands of a powerful few....though they were at one time some of the first-gens, reputable sources, they have putrefied, and the masses along with them, as feeding on such, will contaminate the organism......

George Bush gets his watch stolen

Doc_M says...

"An Albanian bodyguard who accompanied Bush in the town told The Associated Press he had seen one of his U.S. colleagues close to Bush bend down and pick up the watch.

The Top Channel private TV station showed how one of his bodyguards may have talked to the president and then taken the watch from his hand."

R.I.P. James Brown (Ed Sullivan Show, 1966)

mlx says...

Legendary Singer James Brown Dies at 73
By GREG BLUESTEIN 12.25.06, 3:10 AM ET

James Brown, the dynamic, pompadoured "Godfather of Soul," whose rasping vocals and revolutionary rhythms made him a founder of rap, funk and disco as well, died early Monday, his agent said. He was 73.

Brown was hospitalized with pneumonia at Emory Crawford Long Hospital on Sunday and died around 1:45 a.m. Monday, said his agent, Frank Copsidas of Intrigue Music. Longtime friend Charles Bobbit was by his side, he said.

Copsidas said Brown's family was being notified of his death and that the cause was still uncertain. "We really don't know at this point what he died of," he said.

Along with Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan and a handful of others, Brown was one of the major musical influences of the past 50 years. At least one generation idolized him, and sometimes openly copied him. His rapid-footed dancing inspired Mick Jagger and Michael Jackson among others. Songs such as David Bowie's "Fame," Prince's "Kiss," George Clinton's "Atomic Dog" and Sly and the Family Stone's "Sing a Simple Song" were clearly based on Brown's rhythms and vocal style.

If Brown's claim to the invention of soul can be challenged by fans of Ray Charles and Sam Cooke, then his rights to the genres of rap, disco and funk are beyond question. He was to rhythm and dance music what Dylan was to lyrics: the unchallenged popular innovator.

"James presented obviously the best grooves," rapper Chuck D of Public Enemy once told The Associated Press. "To this day, there has been no one near as funky. No one's coming even close."

Michael Jordan tribute

michie says...

Michael Jeffrey Jordan (born February 17, 1963) is a retired American professional basketball player. Considered by many to be the greatest basketball player of all time, he became the most effectively marketed athlete of his generation and was instrumental in spreading the appeal of the National Basketball Association around the world in the 1980s and 1990s. He is currently a part-owner of the Charlotte Bobcats.

A remarkable force at both ends of the floor, "M.J." ended his 15 NBA seasons with a regular-season scoring average of 30.12 points per game, the highest in NBA history (marginally ahead of Wilt Chamberlain's 30.06). He won six NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls (during which he won all six NBA Finals MVP awards), won 10 scoring titles, and was league MVP five times. He was named to the All-NBA First Team 10 times, All-Defensive First Team nine times, and led the league in steals three times.

Since 1983, he has appeared on the front cover of Sports Illustrated a record 49 times, and was named the magazine's "Sportsman of the Year" in 1991. He has appeared on the cover of SLAM Magazine a record nine times, including the magazine's 50th and 100th issues. In 1999, he was named "the greatest athlete of the 20th century" by ESPN, and was second only to Babe Ruth on the Associated Press list of top athletes of the century. His leaping ability, vividly illustrated by dunking from the foul line and other feats, earned him the nicknames "Air Jordan" and "His Airness."
