Each channel had their own kid's show. KOMO had Captain Puget [he was a bit dry for my taste]. KING had Stan Boreson who played the accordion and had pets [basset hounds Slo-Mo and No-Mo]. KSTW had Brakeman Bill who had sidekick named Crazy Donkey. It was fun growing up here. =o)

Yep, this is exactly what it's like in Northern Canada, but have you ever tried to play your accordion in -40C weather? I have. My lips kept getting stuck to the mouthpiece.

Now that I think of it, might have been doing it wrong.

By the by, bang for the buck-wise, I have decided that the guitar to use as the primary care giver for myself, to be the Gibson SG...Out of the box, perfection but a bit of tweaking in the hands of a smitty, n she'll give ya hours of unadulterated pleasure-I like the effects package of the Digitech EX-7 expression factory pedal, though the functionality of an everything-in-one pedal is a frikkin live-music nightmare....you simply can't beat the individual spread of the palatalized gearbox.

My second choice for guitar would be a resonator , one that fits yer particular style of pickin' and pressure...try a Johnson or a Dean. Oh and, the warm glow of the tube amp, only. The Marshall has gotten better and better with the solid-state/tube combos...try a Vintage Modern 2266C, for all yer ear-bludgeoning needs.

Alas, I have lost my gear this last year to pawn....another reason to forego nitrous oxide and cocaine, until you become liberated from the bonds of the devil, money....or I mean, forever.

I just heard this song for the first time a few days ago and it really grew on me.

i just had a flash back of having a month long period or so of listening to bob schneider over and over again after going to the show one thanksgiving with all of my siblings plus inflatablevagina.
it must have been during my "drunk period" because i do not like this at all, sorry rougy.

i did like the skanking accordion player though.

Not a fan of the hippie look and the accent of the female singer, but +1 for the song and the blonde on the accordion. Oh, and the beautiful whistling in the beginning. I am insanely jealous of people who can whistle.
