Numb - U2
Yeah I gotta agree with you. I was a big U2 fan up until Zooropa (included). I really dig this album.
After this, I don't know what the hell happened, but I think they lost something along the way...
Numb - U2
Ah 1993, U2's last gasp of greatness for me. Achtung Baby and the ZooTV tour were brilliant and Zooropa had its moments but after that I lost interest. Although Elevation was a great rock song, why can't they write more like that? I kept hoping U2 would do what R.E.M. did with Monster, put out a CD with loud guitar songs and stop over thinking everything. But it aint gonna happen, that song Vertigo sounded so forced and perfunctory. But I digress.....
Thanks for posting this.
MST3K - Rowsdower Saves Us!
Yeah, from U2's last gasp of greatness, the ZooTV tour in 1992. I stopped listening to them after that.
U2 - "Beautiful Day"
*Dead, sigh... just trying to reminess with some old U2 songs and half are dead
U2 - One (live at Slane Castle 2001)
I saw U2 Live during their 360 tour in Tampa, Florida... Best concert I've ever been to!
Undercover Karaoke with Jewel
She's pretty much household name status here in Australia... in case you care
>> ^Deano:
I suppose it comes down to your definition - I'd imagine that U2 have sold considerably more and are household names into the bargain. Also her sales breakdown suggests she's better known in the U.S. I don't think she'd be instantly recognised in the UK for instance.

I can't name one of them either, but then again I'm the last person to ask about pop music.
