Doc Rivers
Nope, Republicans from the president down are spewing fear about any protests, claiming Portland is completely lawless and burning like Atlanta and the villains are coming to your town next to burn your home, and repeatedly used video from other states as their evidence of Portland's destruction, and doctored photos to indicate who the enemy is by adding antifa agents (not a real thing btw) to photos of arson and looting, intentionality ignoring the reality that there are only 2-3 blocks of unrest in Portland, not the entire city by any stretch, and not for decades as the president claimed on live tv.
Spewing fear and lies about national protests, yes they are. Sorry.
Good video.
I would criticize it the same way I would criticize fox news - it's myopic (in regards to the reference videos of protests).
Republicans aren't spewing fear about /those/ protests. They are worried about /these/ protests :

Radicalize
Too bad you fall for the excuses.
Of course, since you support militia kid, you also support the antifa guy who shot the patriot prayer Nazi who was driving through town shooting black people with pepper balls and marbles from paint ball guns, and spraying them with bear mace too, exact same self defense against a violent mob attacking him with weapons. He's a good man you're glad killed that violent thug, right?
But no, because the parties political affiliations are reversed, I expect you stand with the unpatriotic prayer fucker who was the aggressor and first to use weapons just like you stand with the threatening armed murderer who illegally crossed state lines armed with the intent to play police using live rounds, went off and found some trouble he was hoping to find, and murdered two and disabled one.
Rittenhouse is going to need a pardon, he's going to be convicted. You don't get a pass on murder just because your victim isn't Andy Griffith, not that your characterizations have any resemblance to reality. He went illegally armed across state lines looking to shoot someone like Trump said he should, and did. No crying "poor little boy got scared by big bad liberals" now, snowflake. He went looking for it.
But since you support murdering child molesters and woman abusers, I can think of one target that stands before all others.
The vid in the OP is unhinged, it's too bad people fall for it.
Thankfully the Rittenhouse incident is mostly on video and he will likely be exonerated of just about all charges. I don't think he's a hero but I'm not sad he put an end to a rampaging child molester, a violent woman abuser and the bicep of a threatening armed thug.
Skokomish River salmon cross the road
the town should install a "salmon crossing" sign. (just because how many of those would you ever see?)
Tesla China - Shanghai Gigafactory production line
As a 'car guy', the biggest draw to a Tesla [for me] is the acceleration ... and since the model 3, handling is 'good nuff for a stock car'. A model 3 even won scca solo b street.
Eventually they can get their electronics switching fast nuff to maintain torque above 100 (or add a gear), and it will probably be a pretty good track car too.
I never cared for the self driving and whatever else. I just care about the basics. Tesla basics are pretty good.
The down side of tesla is that you can't fix it yourself. Their parts are coded to each other, and even if you replace a bad part with a good one, it won't work till the ECM is coded to it. Pretty much a repair monopoly.
You can replace some control boards/software to help with that, but Tesla detects it and punishes you with a quick charge lockout.
Don't really feel comfortable owning a car I am not allowed to fix.
For someone like me, Tesla has only 1 vulnerability : Other manufacturers can choose to make fast EVs, too.
That's all it would take [for someone like me] to change Tesla from 'the only game in town' to 'just one of many'.

Ku Klux Klan Member interview-Chris
My great great grandmother rented out houses in a small town in Louisiana in the early 1900's. One day when checking on her properties she found a chest full of KKK robes in a garage of one of her rentals. Instead of confronting her renters, she dragged the chest to the town square, pulled out the robes, and burned them all.
Her renters moved.
Holy shit is this moron deluded.
I'll never understand why they don't just buy a compound, and make it a club, admission by invitation only. Be separatist all you want, on your own property.
Wait, he thinks you can separate races by the language they speak? You've got to be kidding me, you moron.
Homosexuals are to be killed, just like people who eat shellfish or wear blended fabrics, or mow their lawn on Sunday even once. There are dozens to hundreds of rules that call for stoning, if you're Jewish. Not if you follow Christ. Those instructions come from the old testament, not the new.
If he thinks that doesn't matter, he needs to lynch himself immediately.
Ok, @bobknight33, grand wizard of N Carolina supports Trump, his chapter supports Trump, the grand Dragon supports Trump, the organization supports Trump. Not Biden. Of course, despite hearing it directly from the Klan you'll deny it and say they support Biden, that's called being delusional.
Regret
When I was about 13ish living in NJ, my friend and I decided to head down to the railroad near the Delaware river.
To get there we decided to go down the steel steps that ran down the hillside in our town. There are two flat platforms along the way and when we reached the first one we spotted a boy who, we knew from the area, coming up the steps in our direction.
His name was Ken. Ken had a mental disability but he was harmless. A friendly and defenseless kid that was about the same age as us and about a head taller. As he was coming up the steps I wondered what he would do if I punched him in the gut. A total sucker punch that he wouldn't see coming.
I knew he wouldn't retaliate so I decided I would do it.
As he got within range, without warning, I punched him right in the gut hard.
How he reacted and the painful look on his face instantly brought regret that, to this day, I still live with. Many years later I made an effort to find Ken and tell him how sorry I was for my violent, unprovoked actions that day. How much of an asshole I was and hope he might forgive me. I found out he had died just a couple of years back.
I think about how that punch may have changed him forever. How it may have destroyed his trust in people and planted a fear within him that I was responsible for.
Sometime later, when I was alone, I cried that day with that vision I saw on his face and I can still see it now and feel it in my gut as I write this.
That day had changed my life forever at his expense.
Unfortunately this mindset has destroyed our planet.
It's far more responsible and less damaging to regret something you haven't done.
Usually when people regret not doing something it's because they regret missing out on an experience. Usually when people regret something they've done, it's because it was disastrous and the experience was not worth the cost to themselves and others.
Woman pepper sprays couple eating outside without masks
well this hits me close.
I live in chile, in a rural area that was one of the few not in quarantine in the area. i have a bakery and since march even before govt mandate we shifted to takeaway and closed off the shop to customers, and reduced our shift to one person on site for only 4 hours, with PPE. a week ago, a guy from out of town came (taking advantage there was no quarantine here and thus notaries like the one next to me are open) and asked to use the bathroom, my employee refused and the guy then made a one minute video showing 2 people show up without masks, he walks up and starts berating them for not respecting the law and everyone there (mostly old ladies) basically got too scared to defend themselves, so the video looks bad. we ended up on the news, shut down, huge fine, for customers' behavior outside our shop- all because of a video that intentionally made it appear like we were serving people normally when that wasn't the case.
so im now more sensitive to the corona righteous as well as these short viral videos in general. unless those people eating outside were following her around and intentionally coughing on her, there is nothing to justify her using mace on them, but i agree that the video doesnt show enough to establish that. people everywhere need to adapt to the new reality and im all for prevention including hard quarantines where necessary, but we also have to be reasonable about how we approach one another and understand there are acceptable risks, such as having picnics or playing tennis, and unacceptable ones like not wearing a mask indoors or in groups.
Public Pension Timebomb, Explained
Democrat controlled cities/town and Democrat voting Union members giving each other a reach around and you come up with it Republican faults?
State Pensions are a golden egg at taxpayer expense. It should never be better than private sector.
Why aren't (some) officials questioning the pension liabilities? In many cases it could be because Republicans at least tend to let the pensions go bankrupt then allow agencies off the hook for the retirement packages many worked a lifetime to earn, so why worry? Oddly, when it's multi million retirement packages for CEOs of companies being bailed out, the same people insist it's a contractual obligation that can't be ignored.
Lawyer's Reaction to Carnage at Lafayette Square
You better hope Biden is better than Trump or you're going to see the national guard in your town looking to shoot you and your family in the face.
So dumb, Bobby, so short sighted, anti American, and just dumb. I get you're upset that Trump has less chance in November every single day, starting out behind and sprinting to the bottom....it's made you choose delusion over any semblance of reality....not that that's a big change.
Trump has driven us into bankruptcy, a quarantine his slow and indecisive actions caused and extended that will have to be repeated because he invited his people to ignore it, go to work even sick, and to violently protest against them (like the armed invasion of the governor's mansion and burning him in effigy on the porch), now exacerbating civil unrest he fomented by telling police to be more brutal, hurt suspects physically whenever possible.
Look how well he's done at "leading". So well, we are on the verge of civil war.
What's his approval today? >35%? How many swing states is he even within the margin of error against Biden? None today.
Waiting for your second red tsunami with bells on, this one's poised to wash away even more human garbage than the last.

Why This British Crossroads Is So Dangerous
Well, the video already mentioned the cost of getting traffic lights as well as laying down miles (or Kilometres) of electric cables, so this is a rural area (otherwise a city/town would've certainly found the money to do it)... installing traffic cams will need to lay those same cables.
They could do a roundabout maybe? UK & EU are fond of those...
In general I'm opposed to using traffic cams to ticket people who don't stop at lights or intersections, but I think I'd allow it in this instance.

Dr Drew's Horrific Coronavirus Advice Compilation
When I bike around town and some asshole almost hits me with his car, I oftentimes catch up to them at a red light. I usually knock on their window and ask them to be more careful because they almost fucking killed me. Politely. But usually a little bit of adrenaline behind my voice because, you know, he almost killed me.
Sometimes they tell me to fuck off. But 9 times out of 10 they say they didn't even see me and that they're sorry. And honestly, even though they almost killed me, sorry makes a lot of the hate go away.
Can one of these pigfuckers please, for the love of fucking god, just say, "I was wrong. I'm sorry that I underestimated the breadth and deadliness of this disease. Please listen to other sources of information. I'm obviously misinformed."
But not one yet. Not a single one has admitted to their inaccuracy. Not even good ol' @bobknight33.
