Landings at San Diego Int Airport Timelapsed
"tiltshift" is not sped up. However, tiltshifted footage is usually sped up to look more miniature.
I wonder what it's called. Kinda like how tiltshift really isn't just sped up.
"Compressed Chronological Reality" maybe.

Obviously not a real timelapse so I wonder how it was made.
The 405 Carmageddon (2011) in Time-Lapse

The really good thing was that, with a little more exposure, so did a whole lot more people I think that might be my most successful promote ever.

I know nothing about photography or after affects or any of it. Can anyone point me in the direction of and explanation as to the process of tiltshift or any of what's going on here? I always see these and I always love them, I just wanna know how.

No matter how many of these tiltshift videos I've seen, it always amazes me.

Awesome stuff, YDJ! Can't bring myself to spring for the new tilt-shift lenses for the 5DMII yet but you're certainly tempting me.
Thank you. Yeah, a software tilt shift is all I can afford these days (and the software is free)

The camera angles are amazing. I'd like to know what building he gets all the high cityscape footage from if hes not on the Eiffel Tower.
He does seem to have a very privileged position in taking the shots..
Ah, here we are - from the original video page: "... we had four cameras that day, however most of the footage is from two we had on top of a building on the Champs Élysées."

This guy needs to keep them coming, all of his tiltshift videos are beautiful.
Much like the whole problem with the abuse of HDR photography, there are quite a few badly done tiltshift videos where the format is not used well artistically or inappropriately.
I envy the patience required to set these shots up...
