Disney buy Lucasfilm for $4.05bn. Star Wars Ep. 7 in 2015.

Disney owns Marvel AND Lucasfilm.
fuck....
Not just Marvel and Lucasfilm! They also own Pixar. And ESPN. And not to mention Hyperion (they're known for something called "books"). And oh almost forgot - something called ABC! And a big chunk of Hulu.
And let's not leave out - both the Muppets AND the Might Morphin' Power Rangers! Sheesh... why not sell them DC, Star Trek and Harry Potter and just be done with it already.
Disney bought Pixar but the deal made Steve Jobs the majority stakeholder in Disney so you might say that Pixar runs the show since then.
La Luna - Pixar Short
Pixar short = instant top 15.
I have always wondered how the moon did that - perhaps this clip should be in howto?
La Luna - Pixar Short
How has this not been sifted before?!
When I saw this in the theater I thought that this was the most beautiful of Pixar creations.
Well done!

I enjoyed that one more than ANTZ and Ant Bully movies, but the ants aren't that accurate.

"The Ancestor" by Darlingside
Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag. (show it anyway)
This is an email submission request by the creator - very cool video. More details:
The Ancestor is a collaboration between Chinese Takeout and Crazy Lake Pictures, both young production companies forged in the fires of speed-filmmaking challenges. Chinese Takeout members Timothy Hahn – Pixar employee by day, ruthless preditor (producer/editor) by night – and Abraham Dieckman, writer-director of the upcoming sci-fi feature Trash and Progress – recently made a splash on the festival circuit with the animated short film Cadaver, featuring the voices of Christopher Lloyd, Kathy Bates, and Tavi Gevinson. Crazy Lake Pictures accomplices Mike Lavoie, co-executive producer of the acclaimed film Sleepwalk with Me, and Keith Boynton, whose feature film Chasing Home was chosen as the opening-night premiere of the 2012 Gotham Screen International Film Festival, also collaborated on the well-received "Here We Go" music video for Brooklyn-based band The Spring Standards.
The Ancestor is Crazy Lake's second video for Darlingside (after the jaunty parable "Terrible Things"), and the first meeting of the minds between Crazy Lake and Chinese Takeout, though Hahn and Boynton have enjoyed the texture of each other's brains since their days doing improv comedy together at Amherst College. All four men are sensitive film nerds who look forward to many future collaborations.
Why Pixar Movies are Secretly about the Apocalypse
>> ^chingalera:
Hey folks, I don't feel entitled and I fucking hate adverts over videos and guess why??
Because the techniques that advertisers use to hawk their wares insults and disgusts me considering the quality of all but the simplest of the crap available to human beings. Advertising is an insidious and continual affront to your consciousness and a waste of resources both human and monetary. i COULD GO ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON like this for hours as to the "cons" of the vile trade-As to of you those who defend the institution and practice of bombarding the collective psyche with the shit???...Well, the tone your only defense seeeems to include some piety regarding some "necessity" for such a continual assault, simply because of the old adage, "You don't get something, for nothing." In this case, we get pretty much nothing in the form of entertainment(four dweebs sitting around talking geekster shit about nothing very interesting), and for the guy here who got the ad???....Some fucking commercial for mouthwash or a car.
When the internet is off, I'll find something else to do.
Or you could get adblock and/or not watch the video in the first place. There's ways to avoid the evil advertising.

Well, no ad block here - still no ad.

Still new to the whole ad-blocker thing I see.

"Give me stuff."
"Ok, pay for it"
"Nope, I don't 'pay' for stuff"
"Right, well, we can give it to you for free if you'll watch an ad to cover our costs"
"Ads!? Pffft, I'm not going to be forced to watch an ad!"
"Well then sir, we are at an impasse"
