Good job, but “brave”? “Heroic”? Not to people who ride horses, to us it’s just stopping a normal everyday horse tantrum…just not happening in the best place.

Its about a horse tied into wwi. Its like legends of the fall but instead of people...theres a horse. Or maybe its nothing like legends but still...seriously..... wwi patriotism repackaged with a horse

If you like war movies.....that was probably all the war scenes you're going to get.

'Be careful [sir dashing aristocratic dweeb) with me horse sir' ...'No problem (peasant boy) who despite his peasant baseness somehow managed to raise this noble horse despite....No wait, BECAUSE of his peasant simplicity managed to raise a fine noble horse and will somehow woo the wealthy girl.

Not sure what the pet cruelty laws are like in the UK, which this seems to be where this is taking place at. But in the states if some woman had done this and the cat ended up being crushed to death in a garbage truck....she really wouldn't be looking at much. A bit of a fine maybe a mark on her record....cost of a replacement cat + vet bills. Which is what pisses me off the most when I see these videos, knowing that people do stuff a lot worse than this to animals and get off with a fine and a mark on their record.

A few of the more recent things that have been on the news are the people starving their horses, a couple who went on a couple week vacation and left an insane amount of animals left locked in the house and they all had to be put down because of the conditions they were in.

Breaking the window out of your house to enter is a more serious crime than killing your dog on the way to the window.

I understand wanting to have pets and you having to have reasonable protection put in place to keep your pets from hurting people. It's just there's nothing on the flip side of that to protect your pets from people hurting them. It puts a pretty big burden on pet owners while giving the animal about the same status as an outside light. Your mailbox on the other hand has some federal protections.

The right wing pundits sound more and more crazy by the day. They think 11 weeks into the Obama administration we are nearing a totalitarian state?

WHERE THE F*CK WHERE THESE GUYS IN THE LAST 8 YEARS?

But I'm not worried. The most they head towards actual mental illness, the less people believe their horse-shit and the smaller their base will become. They lost this election because all they did was play to the base. Do they really think that continuing to do so and getting more and more hard-core is going to help them in that respect?

Edit: And am I the only one who cannot stand Lou Dobbs anymore? He almost shit a brick when Hillary won Navada and he thought Obama might not win. Now every single day he just bitches about the administration he was so hard up for before the election.

There's a lotta people on high horses about this. You must remember that these drivers live with the threat of death or injury each day - and generally only guarded by army reservists. That sort of situation has to have a darkening effect on a person.

That's not to say it's right, but it's also no proof that they *would* actually kill children if they were given the opportunity.

Unless any of us have actually been there, I dont think we are qualified to judge the mindsets of personnel in Iraq. We must realise the bigger picture, that people that shouldn't be over there and placed in these situations without bloody good cause to begin with.
