The driver behind flashed his lights and honked, to warn the oncoming truck.
The bus did not stop on an approved bus stop, and the transport company was looking into the incident.
But then again - this could easily have happened on a regular bus stop.
Some places, where there is quite a distance between each bus stop, the bus driver and parents agree to stop certain places between the bus stops.

Norwegian busses have always, since I was a kid, had warning labels "Do not cross the road before the bus has left". This is why.

Oh , and this video is the raw footage from NRK, ("Norways BBC") who filmed and streamed the entire thing on national TV as a slow-tv-experiment. Later they also did Hurtigruta, with the entire trip on live tv. (a cruiseship that travels norways entire coastline from south to north.

Skydiver Almost Struck By Meteorite

I think this might be legit, this report is made by a science show on NRK called "Schrodingers cat" They are (in addition to having picked a really cool name) usually thorough and fact-based, and they have been running since 1990. NRK is the Norwegian counterpart to the BBC.

It is of course possible that the diver has faked the footage etc, but if so, he has fooled not just the tv-show but also a few scientists. They've even organized search groups to look for this thing.

High Bar Base Jump Goes Terribly Wrong

BASE jumper Richard Henriksen was performing the stunt for a TV show on the NRK TV network in Norway.

Video footage of the accident shows Henriksen making his first rotation around the metal bar when it suddenly collapses.

The father-of-five then flies off the cliff head-first, and those watching can be heard letting out a huge gasp.

In an extremely lucky chain of events, Henriksen survived the 1200m fall. He narrowly missed falling against the rock face of the cliff and managed to open his parachute on the way down, NRK TV reports.

Pat Condell: Cultural Terrorism

BicycleRepairMan says...

The rape statistics are accurate, and the news report is from NRK which is Norways answer to the BBC, and is generally regarded as a trustworthy news-outlet. The subtitles/translation is also fairly accurate

BUT, Condell fails to mention that the rapes in questions were "Assault-rapes" That is the kind of rape where the rapist assaults a woman he doesnt know and then rapes them. The statistics do not include rape where the victims knows the rapist and/or willingly goes with him, talks to him and so forth prior to the rape.

Also, it is not specified what religion the rapists have, but it seems most of them are from Somalia, pakistan and other countries with Islam as the dominant religion.
