Damn It McDonalds

mgittle says...

Local place near me:
http://www.famoushamburger.com/menu/famous-gourmet-burgers/

They have 1lb burgers on the menu and you can make them a double or triple. You don't have to get a friggin' McD's manager to make you some special crap.

Also, the meat is actually good meat (100% Halal...place is owned by Muslims) and they'll cook it medium rare or whatever instead of shitty McD's meat that they have to cook well done or risk making people sick. Not to mention you get your name on the wall if you eat a 2lb.

And yes...the ending was terrible for two reasons. 1) Advertisement and 2) Why the hell wouldn't you also film the 3lb?

Damn It McDonalds

Legalizing Marijuana - Ron Paul and Jesse Ventura

Matthu says...

I started smoking weed when I was 15. I don't think, like some hardcore supporters do, that it's a magical drug that will lead us all to nirvana.

That being said, the hypocrisy on the part of the government disgusts me. In France, they've banned msg. Pot is also illegal in France, but at least they are being consistent. It's funny because just last night I went out for some mcd's. I haven't eaten any mcdonald's in a few months. I swear people... Ok I was a little hungry but still... I couldn't describe to you how bad I was fiending for that McChicken. I felt it in me, if someone would've come by and tried to take it away I would've FUCKED them up.

I've never felt that with weed. I might go a few weeks without smoking and then really want to smoke because having gone a few weeks without, I'll get a nice buzz. I might think as I'm about to light up, "Damn this is going to be sweet, and then smoke and be like MmMmm." But not like my desperation for that McChicken last night. And I've smoked way more joints in my life then eaten McChicken's.

Here's a nice article on msg: http://www.rense.com/general52/msg.htm

So why's it like this? Well, I think it's religions fault probably. Religious people don't do "drugs". But they got no beef(pun not intended) with a McWrap.

Furthermore, in regards to driving stoned. I drive stoned. When I first starting driving I said to myself I'll never drive stoned. But after a couple times of doing it anyways, I got comfortable with it and I'm telling you I can drive just as well if not better(due to feeling relaxed and not in a rush) as sober.

I can't drink and drive tho. I would not drive drunk and I fucking can't stand driving even tipsy. I've driven tipsy before it's not fun. I don't feel comfortable doing it. I'm likely to not feel my speed unless I'm scared and staring at the speedometer. It's hard to describe how I feel driving tipsy. I just feel handicapped vs the other people on the road. Also, I live in Quebec and people drive aggressively here.

Anyways smoking weed might mildly impair your reflexes, but it doesn't affect your motor skills. So if a retard runs out into the middle of the street, you might not react in time. But you won't jump the sidewalk and kill an older lady going out for a power walk.

Also, alcohol makes me a little aggressive. Not enough to go out looking for a fight, but enough to hope someone else does.

Weed makes me completely docile.

Also, it hasn't been a gateway drug for me. Shrooms is the only other drug I've ever done.

How to make a Big Mac clone; tastier and probably healthier

Man Eats 23,000 McDonald's Big Macs since 1972

The 10 mile walk helps. Big Macs aren't POISONOUS for pete's sake. I would assume he eats OTHER THINGS.

I agree on the walking 10 mile part... certainly this guy is skinnier than 90% of the people I've seen who eat McD's regularly. Also NOT eating fries certainly helps for his avoiding heart disease.

What I found interesting is that he keeps all the receipts - what kind of receipt paper does McDonalds use that last that long? Any receipt I have that's over 10 years old is completely faded...

McDonalds manager to applicant - "We do not hire faggots"

Opus_Moderandi says...

>> ^caiter4:
While I agree that this was a crime, and a horrible act of discrimination, suing McDonalds just makes her look like a gold digger. The manager should be sued, because he said it, not McDonalds. McDonalds never would have done something so libellous. Yet they are suing the thing that will get them the most money, instead of rectifying the act by suing the liable party. How is that helping anything, except making her rich?

while i'm not a lawyer (nor do i play one on t.v.), i'm pretty sure that since the person was a representative of McD's, and was responding as such, that makes McD's, as a whole, the responsible party.

Screaming Fat Guy at Walmart McD's

IT - Sailboat Scene

Even if he considers himself McD's, he is truely a gourmet paradise of literary genius. He is just far to modest for his work. If you can read "The Stand" or "The Dark Tower" and consider him a "McDonalds" or literature, you need to re-read these things.

The Dark Tower is one of the ONLY 2 series I've ever read more than once excluding the Bible.

When Stephen King dies, I will cry.

You're wasting your meal if you don't go to McD or BK!!!

You're wasting your drink if you don't drink Coke or Pepsi!!!

Anyone that says third party voting is a waste is just another prop holding up the artificial bullsh-t duopoly that has taken over American politics. Look, both parties are insanely corrupt and wasteful and could give less a crap. I guarantee if the US had five parties then we would not have bullsh-t and half-retards like Bush or Palin. We wouldn't have FISA, telecom immunity, rich people bailout.

How does US news shape the way we see the World?

RedSky says...

Whether Americans are truly interested in world events or whether they would say yes to a blanket question about it are two different matters entirely. If you looking comparatively to test marketing, consumers usually do not appreciate ingenuity before it becomes a status quo. Take the walkman, test marketers said they would have no use for it. Now, moreso than ever, you are given a plentiful smorgasbord of world news providers via the internet, to the extent that what big networks provide is virtually irrelevant as a proportion of total media coverage. This is huge change from 50, even 20 years ago.

TV media companies are simply providing what the average television is interested in, what catches their attention and keeps them tuned in. Sure, you could argue they perpetuate ignorance, but they are simply following the basic forces of capitalism and profit maximisation.

Whether they are the chicken or the egg is irrelevant. As I see it, the very expectation that a corporation will make an about turn and pursue an altruistic and presumably unprofitable market catering to a niche interest is no better than blaming MCD for making you fat.

McDonalds Commercial - J.C Petite

Zifnab says...

I feel the same way, can't stand McD's but I couldn't stop laughing at this commercial. They were playing the Poke Check bit on a local sports radio station the other day while I was driving to work and the hosts were cracking up.
