ive seen quite a few machinima, but this one is about as top notch as it gets. not necessarily because of the story or the music, but the animation. most WoW machinima just use whatever emotes are built into the game and kind of make do with whats there, this is the first one ive seen that takes the models and literally animates them. and did a damn good job of it too, it was all very smooth.

lighting was incredible, and the effects (sword sparks, pulling off her hood in the end, wings, etc were all spot on. i wouldn't doubt that if anyone had never seen wow before watched this they might think it was all modeled in house as well.

I'm not usually a fan of machinima, but I have to admit that was pretty cool.

Actually, I'd be rather curious to see that. (Assuming that by QW you mean Quake Wars.) I'm actually a big QW player, moresoe than TF2. I'd be eager to see QW get some love too.

Still, this vid is pretty cool. I chuckled at the sniper right at the end of the heavy dominos.

I agree - and will *promote this to make sure it doesn't get lost in the queue - this ... OMG, the part at 5 minutes in was beyond brilliant. Nice. Serious case of top 15-age possibility here.

What a *happy *dark *actionpack of *art. The pyro rocket pong is glorious.

OMFG, heavy dominoes FTW!!!! For anyone unfamiliar, the game has a taunt command which was thought ot be generally useless except for, well, taunting. Then of course they made them instant-kills. The catch is there's a 2 or 3 second pause before that kicks in, so you have to time it perfectly and be rather lucky or your enemy has a chance for free shots against you. The uber-chain was cool too.
