OWS Occupy Seattle march on BoA and civil disobedience
Why is Hans Zimmer the music of the revolution?
A Story To Inspire Our Species - We Got Scared
^Right composer, wrong score. The first track is from Hans Zimmer's score for 'The Thin Red Line'. The second (vi IV I iii/vii) is from John Murphy's score for 'Sunshine'.
Awesome thing you probably didn't notice about Inception
Tags for this video have been changed from 'Inception, Hans Zimmer, Edith Piaf, Je Ne Regrette Rien, Christopher Nolan' to 'Inception, Hans Zimmer, Edith Piaf, Je Ne Regrette Rien, Christopher Nolan, music' - edited by chilaxe
Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon - Trailer 2 (epic!)
Man, Hans Zimmer really started something with those isolated, deep horns.
Robot Chicken: Final Fantasy 7: The Fast Food Industry
>> ^BoneRemake:
What gives you more pleasure, Final Fantasy or Robot Chicken ? @kceaton1
If I could have both at the same time like this, it would be completely obvious.
Otherwise, it's Robot Chicken. Now if we could create a videogame-Robot Chicken-Spielberg/Lucas/Nolan/James Cameron/Ridley/Peter Jackson/Guillermo del Toro /Joss Whedon (to keep the others on the up & up) and then Hans Zimmer/Williams (I know)/Jerry Goldsmith/Trent Reznor/Cliff Martinez/ & Dennis McCarthy for sound. Lot's of the people involved would innately clean up mistakes (like Lucas at some point; for example).
It would be the best thing ever...

Great video. Loving the *music too... particularly "Time" by Hans Zimmer from Inception.

'Tis indeed an awesome track from an awesome soundtrack (from an awesome film). Thanks for the quality.
In reply to this comment by Hybrid:
There's just something about this track. Absolute *quality.

The sad part is that Nolan won't make any more movies like that. Some ideas are perfect for small budgets, but now that he's so commercially successful he's probably gonna keep making big Hollywood blockbusters with mandatory special effects, Hans Zimmer soundtrack etc...

Memento, to me, is just on a completely other level than Inception. Great movie. Memento, that is.

That's a very common rhythm. It may not be intentional.
Great flick.
Fix your link
Also, Hans Zimmer was interviewed on NPR recently. Pretty interesting.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Movie Trailer
Traditional-Ridiculously-Epic-Score does not amuse. Harry Gregson-Williams is scoring and not Hans Zimmer
Need to know the name of this song! (Music Talk Post)
Could be something by Steve Jablonsky. He's done music to Gears of War 2, Transformers, Final Fantasy etc. These guys (DaveandNic4eva) also mention Hans Zimmer, another great composer
Fanmade Starcraft CGI Movie
*promote, May 2009 - release time?
I guess *shortfilms is technically appropriate here? Oh wow, Hans Zimmer did the soundtrack? Okay, this is one of those situations where, while we don't usually call it, this time *music is called for then. Yay Hans!
John Williams' greatest themes
Both of the other composers listed her... hmmm, let's put their themes up against William's themes in a popular recognition poll.
There's no competition at all, Williams has created more memorable/iconic movie themes than any other composer. There are other brilliant composers out there (I love Hans Zimmer's work), and there are themes which will be instantly recognizable to most people that are written by others. But a single composer writing so many themes that are so well known... come on, no contest.
