The basic premise is that if an unwanted child is brought into the world they are more likely to become a criminal. Thus Roe vs. Wade resulted in a drop in the crime rate.

The Freakonomics blog made me realize this vid exists, since I wasn't paying attention tot he queue 3 months and 3 weeks ago. Or 1 year and 5 months ago. Those masks are WEIRD and scary.

Yeah; interesting side-effect though, the new queue has ballooned to 9 pages today and only a few vids made it to front page since the morning.

Man, this is so much a case of applied economics (like the book Freakonomics) ... I don't know what the point I'm trying to make is, but playing with these variables/cut-offs is interesting nevertheless.
