duke nukem did totally rip off ash's signature catchphrases... although I'm not sure these sound effects are from Duke Nukem... they sound a lot like Bruce Campbell, which may mean they are from the (I think it was PS1) release of Evil Dead/Army of Darkness, which was expectedly heavy on the shotgun sounds and the phrase 'Groovy'.

I am just as wary of science being used for political purposes as I am of religion used for political purposes. Both are fairly dynamic and flexable. Both are products of human limitation.
