Any newer (< 10 years old?) TV is already digital, and you can just plug a digital antenna directly to it, no box required. If yours is older, you can get a free converter box coupon from the gov. Info found here....

A 10 year old had a similar idea 4 years ago. Simply plant trees.
Theres enough room to do so, but its only happening sporadically by some extreme ideologists - here and there a tree. The reason for that is nobody can make money from it. And since "climate change" is only about the money anyway, these solutions wont be considered.
