I want to see those douchebag games. Until then, I enjoy reading www.hotchickswithdouchebags.com
I can't express enough how sick I am of people making that "peace sign" or what ever the hell it means to them in photos. *shutters
An interesting and entertaining article.

Horrorshow Contest Week 3: It's a dystopian sweep today! (Horrorshow Talk Post)
Holy Cheesus! Truth be told, I've been saving Halloween vids for a year, but I emptied my supply this week because I'm gigging out of town next week and may not have internet. Nice to see your old Avatar kp, I may have to pull the adbusters black spot out, again.

No, I wanna be just like him is all. I even signed up for Adbusters. Now THAT's some subversive stuff.

So, is it any coincidence that you and DFT have the same colored comment background and a monochromatic icon? SOCK PUPPET!

"Use the Force, Kubrick, use the Force". Haha. Nicely done.

Thanks for the vid Jeff. I appreciate the help and it's a great meme to spread. I remember the first Adbusters I ever picked up, Systematically Distorted Information, and it's stayed with me for a long time in a way view other things have.

I used to work in an advertising agency. Occasionally I'd bring in a copy of Adbusters, and when no one was looking, I'd just leave it lying around (the nearer to reception, the better). I'd also deface the regular magazines because they were so unbelievably offensive.
No one cared, no one noticed, no one wanted to talk about it.
I eventually quit that job because I felt like I was contributing to the construction of an immoral, exploitative world (in a very small way admittedly), and because I was surrounded by people who either embraced that world actively, or paid no attention or thought to the issues at all.
Sorry for the rant. I know it's ridiculously melodramatic but after five years there I felt totally hollow and numb.

That CNN clip is mindboggling. Cognitive dissonance much?
I don't always agree with adbusters, but I do think that it will take some kind of shock therapy to get the overconsumptive world out of the growth mindset.

It's a scribbled black dot. It's a logo for adbusters.

what IS that avatar? Reminds me of the most untalented artist on the planet, Cy Twombly.....that silly fucker's works are taking up valuable wall space at the Menil collection near my home, in Houston.......buncha uninspired chicken scratch , black on white paper.....worthless. Of course, the "experts" will say this and that minimalist composition, this and that resolving and defining blah blah blah......they wouldn't know talent if it fell on them from a 20-story building.....
