Siftbot knows how to turn a yt url into an embed, so you could try that instead of the embed.

Otherwise, you could try using the bookmarklet to submit.

As for what the problem is... I think you're just going to have to wait to hear from @lucky760 I haven't heard of anyone else having this issue though, so perhaps it's a recent change (or doesn't affect everybody).
