My Brand New Daughter, (And The Reason I've been away)
You may (probably not) have noticed my absence around here for the past 1.5-2 months. Well all through march I was doing field exercise and what not, then all of April, I went back to the States for the birth of my daughter. So without further ado, if any of you care to see her, or just like cute babies, here she is. Kayla Renee Arsenault, 8lbs 15oz.

Hey congrats! Is it your first? Nothing more life changing then your first kid- turns all your priorities around. Though Sift should still be in the top 5.
Cute, she has the same haircut as you .
Congratulations!!!
I am about a week away from becoming a dad as well. Very exciting!
All the best to you and your family!
Thanks all. Yes, Dag, she is my first. And don't worry. VS is about #2.
Awesome, congrats!

Wow... the is disturbingly eerie... I never caught on to that until you said something.
Wow! BIG CONGRATS!
What an adorable little angel. Do you feel any different yet?
Congratulations. Kayla Renee is gorgeous.
As sorry as I am to say this, no. She was born on the 22nd, and i left on the 28th. There just wasn't enough time. I feel doubly anxious to get back, but "fatherhood" hasn't set in for me yet. Although my wife made me change every one of her diapers for that week...
Congratulations. I bet you're as proud as I am about my new gold star..
Priorities, my friends
Damn, that's a big chair.
She's a cutie. I can't wait for my son to get here in a couple weeks. Congratulations!
Congratulations, pappy! Your whole world is going to change, but it's going to be for the better, trust me. Remember that when the young 'un wakes you up during the middle of the night.
And when you tell the runts "No running in the house" and they do it anyway, and hurt themselves because of it, you get to point and laugh.
And when that's no longer fun, you can strap a pedometer to their little legs, so when they do run the get a shock - pretty soon they'll learn better.
Writer's afterthoughts: I'm probably going to jail when I have kids.
Oh, congrats! It's a hard time but a good time, the new demanding person in your life. Just wait til she smiles and laughs.
clearly, from the first pic, she has your nose...
hearty congratulations, sir!
same haircut, and what looks to be the same one eyebrow...man what a great thing-Congrats, O'Pappyheimer..
I missed this until now. Congratulations!

CREEPY
Would have been much creepier if she was 18lbs, 5oz . . . for several reasons.
Anyway, congratulations!
