YouTube: The real reason we may destroy ourselves isn’t really to do with politics or economics or even warfare. It has to do with our minds.

I upvoted for the overall philosophical theme, but the assertion that we can't save ourselves as a species until we do away with abortion is kind of silly.

Unbearable pop psychology and wishful thinking.

When he talked about the unborn, he wasn't talking about fetuses, he was talking about managing to care about distant future generations of humanity, not just our own children and grandchildren. Though I agree it was a clumsy way to put it.

Never going to happen. The best thing humanity can do, is wipe itself out. Give what ever will succeed us a better chance.
