Tycho His Moose and the Dying by Not Going to the Toilet

Sixty Symbols talks about Tycho Brahe, one of the more interesting scientists they have talked about. The story goes that he got a bladder infection by not going to the toilet in time, but he also had a pet moose (my favorite of the Sixty Symbols team talks a bit about it as she is from Canada, and reckons it was probably an Elk). He and his more well known (at least with the public at large) assistant Johannes Kepler would argue about Kepler's heliocentric model and Tycho's geo-heliocentric model of the universe. The Tycho Brache entry in Wikipedia made for an interesting read after seeing this.
