TrancecoachA compelling and empassioned talk by (the *learning) Dr. Tyson. (I wonder about some of the significant edits of the video towards the end. Does anyone know the story with that?) I found it interesting that, after making his case clear about the premise and potency of the "naming rights," he used it as a platform from which to address the American culture's ongoing de-emphasis of *science, mathematics, and engineering, and its over-emphasis of *religion. You can tell that it's a personally meaningful topic for him, and I wonder how often an audience such as his (in the room in which he's speaking) is exposed (treated?) to such empassioned speeches among their mostly-dry (and "seasoned") academics.
