1949 Home economics film of various Cooking Terms. Of course set in the situation of poor Margie who has to cook for her new husband Tim, but apparently doesn't have a clue. She must be a communist. Get in the kitchen, woman!

Found this on my favorite site outside of the sift, www.foodwishes.com which I highly recommend for anyone who likes to be in the kitchen.
