Africans invented rice cultivation. When the Chinese arrived, the Africans threw it at them. They freaked.."Don't touch it!! Pick it up with sticks!!!"....The rest is history.

That last point threw me off. Hang gliders.. used to attach on to enemies being thrown off a cliff?!! Doesn't that defeat the purpose of throwing them off in the first place? Unless they were flammable maybe? Then that would make sense, because throwing an enemy off a cliff wouldn't offer -as- much 'entertainment' value?
