I'm not sure if this has been discussed before, or whether the new VS has got it covered. This nasty virus that's killing so many of our vids and I expect will continue to do so... does this also mean that people are losing their rankings?

If so, I propose that no matter how many sifted videos you have left, it shouldn't affect the achievement that members have already made. It could become very disheartening if people are continually getting busted down the ranks, especially for those who enjoy the aspect of gentle competition here on the sift.

Really, if you've sifted a video, that should be the important thing, you've done what you set out to do, and all this copyright douchebollocks can get to fuck
