I can appreciate wanting to sift songs and pieces of music, I consider doing so myself every once in a while but I just always come back to "Well, it's not technically a movie", I don't, however, begrudge you for doing so. Just want to make that clear

I understand. It is such that there is come music I wish to have represented on the Sift to which there is either no video or, if there is, is renditionally inferior. I hope you at least enjoyed the song.

Frankly, there are a number of the vids that I have submitted for which I expected few if any votes but were voted for out of the kindness and generosity of fellow Sifters. I hope at least some if not all that voted for them found enjoyment and or interest in them. That has been, is, and will be my primary motivation for my submissions on the Sift.

I have appreciated your support as well as your submissions and time in your queues. I look forward to seeing you around the Sift. Happy Sifting and good luck in all you do.

Huh, I must've not put the email notifications on for someone commenting on that video, never actually noticed it was a dupe.

However, that being said, I'm not going to discard it, i'll just find someone with the ability to *.dupeof to get rid of it that way.

Alright, this all seems to be fixed now, but as it was I couldn't upvote any comments on any actual video, for some reason the arrows werent greyed out for your profile.

And the colour scheme was also messed up, but the only two videos i noticed it on was the cute lamb one, and
the lorry car driver doesn't notice a car stuck to its bumper.

Again, seems fine now though.

Try doing a hard reload. I voted on your comment without fail. Where did you try to vote? Was it on a full video page or from a pop-up comment listing?

Please point me at the comment listing where the colors are screwed up.

It's a pretty good game with one of the most original ideas for a fighting system I've seen.
It suffers sometimes unless you download it to your HDD, but you don't control single units, rather, put a group of units together in "Squads" and manage the squads, so you'll have 3 squads with 5 people each, and thereby controlling in excess of about 15 people per fight, if not more.

Was a great game, I'll have to dig mine back out now.

I agree, banning and hobbling in this situation is rediculous. My point is basically that the content in that video is far too graphic for anything to be on the sift. The site has no disclaimer, and as such I believe is held liable, you seem to have grasped that. Let me clarify - I personally have no problem with the video of a bunch of grannies getting their "Liberation" on, but for this website, I do.

I have friends, whose mothers demanded things like speed humps be put in on a road by a school, even though the school, and street, have been there for over 50 years without accident. Their child is more important, and therefore must be protected at any cost. And god forbid they see any form of arousing content on the internet. Hell, they'd probably picket outside dags house.

Videos, even such as your "Lymphy..whatever, massage" can at least be defended against with "It's nothing sexual, and even somewhat educational", or the "Kung Fu sex" clip, the shear absurdity of it still doesn't excuse it, but its still nothing truly "Graphic".

I'll finish by saying, again, I have no quarrel with brain, and don't wish to see him banned or hobbled, having posted the video is actually quite eye opening in the sense of what we need to do for certain content, but I still think the sift should never need to use a disclaimer for any of its content.

however, withstanding that. now that the video has been released from purgatory, i was free too and did infact downvote it, because i didn't like watching it. my whole point is that 1. the gage of offensiveness can't be measured by one person or 4 persons or their penis's. and 2. the voting system is a sufficient guideline to determine if something is siftable, which is a matter of personal preference. personally i find family guy clips viscerally offensive and wish they didn't find their way to the sift, but they do and so i downvote them. if a video hits -3, its gone.

but the talk of bannings and hobblings because a seasoned member posts a provocative video is ridiculous.

I've played through the entire game on Ps3, and I can prettymuch tell you that he really IS being overly-critical for the most part.

The money isn't useless, there's actually neat money-sinks in the game that allow you to do things like purchase upgrades for Monteregionni(Your villa) including art made during the renaissance, and you can't pickpocket things like throwing knives anymore. You can loot dead bodies and maybe find one every once in a while, but you've still gotta pay for the majority of replenishment for Poisons, bullets, knives, smoke bombs etc.

The game itself isn't easy for the most part, combat can be made quite easy because it really is just a lot of standing in a circle waiting to counter-attack for the easy I-win button, but I preferred to make it a challenge to start the fight by trying to assassinate as many guards as possible (Say, in a group of 4 or 6) before the first one I killed fell, and the rest noticed I was killing their buddies.

It's still a damn fine game.. just, bit of an off ending. The one complaint I have is you're supposed to get all these symbol things throughout the game before you complete the game, but if you don't find them it doesn't make as much sense.

That being said, now you know.

So did I. I played it on PC, and I found it to be a lot of fun going through and doing every single side mission before attempting the plot missions, cleaning out each area of the city.

But the whole thing about it being too easy? And the uselessness of the money system? I dunno. That might be a deal breaker for me right there
