Really... some of us aren't all that bad. Nuke America? Hyperbole...
In reply to this comment by Farhad2000:
Who cares about your stupid conservative religious world view... Bush was a conservative religious person and look where it got us.
Fucking idiots. Fucking nuke America. They need a reboot.

Hey lucky,
Can you fix this one for me? MGR told me it was a dupe and I discarded this video without checking. It wasn't a dupe though... and I wanted to get it through the queue.
Thanks,
MH

I discarded it, but the video was actually different. It was a telephone call with the 'Joe' on some talk show. The thumbnail is a clip from the interview.
Careful with the dupe comments, though. I discarded it without even checking to see what video you were referring to, because I assumed you were correct.

Dupe of the current top video.

Oh totally... it is an awesome experiment.
It is all that the theorists I know talk about. If we ever get Ligo up and going we will never get them to shut up.

What do you and your friends in the Fizix community think about the LHC? Should I be as excited as I am?
also: for us geeks, I did an experiment at work today:

So how did it go. Was it just like he said?

This is more or less how we bought our new car and it was the easiest car buying experience ever. I'm very glad I watched this video first. The most essential tip of acquiring a loan prior to starting the purchase process makes all the difference.

Hey Schmawy, Just checking in. How is the drawing coming?

Yeah. True. They end up being rounded octagons, which is why I call them dots.
Besides, lets face it dots are cooler.
In reply to this comment by schmawy:
By 'dot' you mean each octagonal magnet?
In reply to this comment by MycroftHomlz:
The current loop goes on each dot. And then the field lines come out of the dot adding coherently in the center.

Just a sketch on top of yours to make sure I have it straight, before I clean it up...

Hey Schmawy,
Here is what I need, see what you can do.

Draw four octagons as I have drawn them. Then add a circular line to indicate a current(a 3/4 circle with an arrow on one end).
http://hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu/hbase/magnetic/elemag.html
If the current goes clockwise then it produces a magnetic field that is oriented down(so S to N), counter clockwise it goes the other way.(I would prefer ccw) I need them to draw one arrow pointing out of octagons.
These little dots are essentially little bar magnets, and I want to indicate that they add coherently in a specific place. Namely the little square in the middle. The next thing to add is some magnetic field lines, i.e. loops, but oriented them from the top view so they look like 'x's. In this way it will become clear that the center part they are all adding together.
The final step is to make a big arrow pointing down (if the currents are ccw). This would signify them adding. Make this arrow a different color.
