There is no English dubbing. This movie was made in English and will probably never be shown in Japan. Robotech is unknown in Japan! (I live in Japan, and am a huge fan of Robotech, I was so disappointed when I came here and NOBODY knew what I was talking about).

The original few episodes of Robotech were actually an amalgamation of 2 other Japanese anime, edited together. As far as I know the Robotech TV show was never shown in Japan. Probably because it would have had copyright issues with the original 2 shows.”
