well our next server upgrade involves drastically scaling down our os overhead as well as getting 2 xeon's and 4 gigs of ram. The upgrade following that will probably be a seperate sql server and an apache front end.

Yep - it's slow. Right now we are in the middle of the Sift rush-hour, and we're getting pounded now to the point that our little server is smoking.

The good news is, that we've just secured a new dual Xeon monstrosity that operates safely at the core temperature of the sun and has pipes the size of sewer mains.

We'll be experiencing a bit of down time for the migration to the new box. I'll keep you posted when that happens. Probably tomorrow or the next day.
