Cyberjank 2077
When people forget every other buggy game they ever played including Witcher 3 on console. The eyes in the game are customizable (did he skip character creation options?).
Yes it was buggy AF at launch. Most games are, especially massive complex games, 1.03 fixed a lot of bugs, so did 1.04. Even massive big budget releases like RDR2 had game breaking bugs, scripting fails, AI fails, etc.
Doesn't help that they had to try and make it run on console hardware that is well below minimum PC specs.

The Nightmare Artist
Since finding out the Witcher is Polish, this tends not to shock me as much as you'd think.
Rebirth : Photorealism in Unreal Engine 4
Outskirts of Night City in Cyberpunk 2077. "Was bringing her here the right choice?" Ciri from The Witcher 3 visited the Cyberpunk world for more than a year. She had to save humanity. Again.
So hyped for Cyberpunk.
From the original creators of Fallout - The Outer Worlds
I played it at release, didn't notice any major issues. Never been stuck in a rock and I don't remember a single freeze or CTD like those mentioned in that article. Unlike Witcher 3 which was praised at release but was full of progression stopping bugs.
People also said KCD was riddled with bugs, I have over 500hrs in it since launch and haven't seen anything beyond minor glitches.
Red Dead Redemption 2: Official Gameplay Video
Looks incredible. Looks like it could be one of the best games since Witcher 3, definitely hope it doesn't take them years to finish the PC version.

Games that think more gameplay mechanics equals more fun
Agree. Can't stand all the superfluous fetch quests - at this point I'm even sick of inventory management. In games like Fallout, or Elder Scrolls, Witcher - these days I hardly even loot the corpses because I'm so sick of it after 25+ years.
One of the best games I've played recently was - What Remains of Edith Finch - a linear, "walking simulator" which implements innovative/interesting design solutions to drive the story forward, very detailed and very tightly designed - kind of on the opposite spectrum of open-world RPGs - but very awesome.
No Man's Sky Expectations Vs. Reality
Ye, CD Projekt could ask for my firstborn as payment for Cyberpunk 2077 preorder.
I read an interesting opinion thing about No Man's Sky - that hype can sort of be enjoyed in itself, like when you're a kid the best part of Christmas are the weeks before. Now I actually loathe the run up but I really enjoy the day (which somehow continues to surprise me), but sometimes it is kind of nice to be a kid again and just believe with all the naivete of youth. With the Witcher 3 I actually pretty much had possession of the cake and, simultaneous to having it, I had also eaten it. I really hope they manage to bake another quantum superposition cake because it was/is delicious.

Doom (Zero Punctuation)
The game is fucking awesome, but I think you are right that it doesn't really warrant a $60.00 price tag. I feel more convinced of this after paying $25 for the latest Fallout 4 expansion, Far Harbor - DOOM for $60, Overwatch for $40 and Witcher 3's latest expansion Blood and Wine for $19.99.
Blood and Wine is a god damn exemplary piece of video gaming. The amount of content and quality in that *expansion* surpasses most AAA games and all of the aforementioned games - for less.
Anyway, back to DOOM gripes; most of the side missions are fucking way too linear and aggravating. There's nothing special about the multiplayer and the Snapmap thing is basically a level shitter-outer.
That said, the multiplayer was created by an external team but Id software are working on correcting the multiplayer. If they correct the multiplayer and make something interesting out of it, release a real editor to get a decent mod scene going - then I think the game would be worth $60.00 for quite a while and they could go all Blizzard about it and keep it at that price for years.
The more I hear about this game, the longer I'm waiting to play it. Seems to be about $25 max.
The Witch-Trailer
I thought this was about the game, Witcher. *commercial
Zero Punctuation - Fallout 4
I'm quite enjoying it myself, though I've been playing more Just Cause 3 since it came out.
Fallout 4 is mildly better than 3, especially the main story but not nearly as good as New Vegas (talk about dumbed down in comparison) but as other's have said I've always preferred Bethesda's Elder Scroll series.
That said, none of these titles has anything on Witcher 3, the out and out Goty and quite possibly Go/t... century!
Zero Punctuation - Fallout 4
Completely agree with Yahtzee. Never liked Bethesda RPGs and have no idea why they're so popular. Witcher 3, now that's a great game.
