…plummeted because businesses are reeling from the implications of his stated plans (like up to 200% tariffs, and killing the ACA and putting all healthcare costs back on employers and the resulting loss of work) and have started cutting workforces drastically, stopped hiring, and are halting bonuses and promotions so they can afford to buy all of next years stock before Jan 21 when it will cost significantly more. Others are preparing to close because they work in multiple countries, shipping back and forth during production, and tariffs of any size are going to kill their businesses, so better to get out before they’re forced out and broke.
