Planet Earth (Blog Entry by jwray)
I'm pretty sure that at least the BluRay US release has Attenborough's narration. I definitely don't remember hearing Sigourney Weaver when watching it.
The Goblin Shark has Alien jaws!
We are going to need Sigourney Weaver to save us!
Idiot Shoots Himself in the Hand
Then he walks off the line with a loaded gun. Don't ever under any circumstances walk off the line with a live gun, you could face litigation, let alone an angry range officer (They can physically take the gun from you). Range discipline keeps you and others safe, and it starts with proper shooting technique.
He looks the be left eye dominant shooting right handed. Don't push the gun to your left Eye,just tilt it over towards the left eye while maintaining muzzle discipline.
It looks like the little handle on the pistol broke, or maybe it was detached. The pistol is small, use hands to hold it not a piece of plastic.
I dislike the Isosceles stance, i would recommend a modified weaver stance.
Isosceles tends to be less accurate with recoil dissipating in the arm that is not extended to its most structural point. With the weaver you have 100% dissipation in both arms with a strong base, that also allows the enemy to have an enticing target of your armor plates, and not your unarmored sides.
The Isosceles stance was created for a man with an injury to his arm that made it tough for him to take a proper weaver.
This looks like some cheap DIY modifications, if the knowledge behind modification is lacking ask a gunsmith.

Sure you can do all sorts of great styling things with divs, but it can be HELL to get it to look right on Firefox and IE and all others...
might I suggest that
* {
margin: 0px;
padding: 0px;
}
at the top of the CSS solves most of these problems.
The render engines are slightly different, but the main cause of problems is that the default CSS files for browsers are different. Reset everything to 0px, and define it yourself, and always use numbers in px or em. "border: thin" means different things in different browsers, but "border: 2px" is consistant.

HTML is code, it's markup, it's not programming, but it's enCODEd. I code HTML/CSS with vi , FF and gray-matter-pro, my partner is a graphic designer who uses dream-weaver to design web pages, I code, she does not.
The craziest birds ever!
Everyone should definitely watch the entire series. I believe it was 11 parts, filmed and broadcast in HD. Took over three years to produce.
It's titled "BBC: Planet Earth"
As I said on the dead sifted video, they replaced Attenboroughs voice with the horrible Sigorney Weaver, which is sacrilegious!!
The coolest bird on the planet
This is one of the finest scenes in one of the finest nature documentaries ever. Attenboroughs voice was replaced by motherfucking Sigorney Weaver for the US version.
WHY????
Someone should be fired for that.
Starcraft II Zerg Intro Trailer
Blizzard's cinematics are usually so great that this one just came across as generic. It's nice to hear that Sigourney Weaver managed to find more voice over work after trying to ruin Planet Earth.

He's the real deal. Quit the Weavers in protest of them doing a cigarette ad. The PBS doc is inspiring.

Those are great pictures- It's nice to see someone who is able to keep their radicalness with age. I worry about somehow magically
turning conservative when I turn 40. He gives me hope.

Pointless weavers annoy me. Careful clever ones impress me.
Closing segment from Attenborough's Life of Mammals
He's no Siqourney Weaver... /sarcasm
Movie Lines from Action Heroes (9:26)
I just couldn't handle the tags not containing the first hero, quoting one of the first action hero lines I ever learned.
Some of these lines have become so cliche I can't listen to them anymore, but not Clint's for some reason (for instance, Ms. Weaver's cable commercials have ruined her "get away from her you bitch" for me).

At least one clip IS missing. Assuming that 4 and 8 aren't accounted for in this list then I reckon there should be at least 12 clips in total.
Marksmanship Fundementals from Lon Horiuchi
In 1992, while working at sniper position Sierra 4 for the FBI Hostage Rescue Team at Ruby Ridge, Horiuchi killed Vicki Weaver, and wounded her husband Randy Weaver and Kevin Harris. Vicki Weaver was behind a door – unarmed and clutching her infant daughter – when a bullet fired by Horiuchi at Kevin Harris accidentally struck her in the face. The case was dismissed by U.S. District Judge Edward Lodge on May 14, 1998, who cited the Supremacy Clause of the Constitution which grants immunity to Federal officers acting in the scope of their employment. This decision was reversed by an en banc panel of the Ninth Circuit, which held that Horiuchi should stand trial. However, shortly after the Circuit court rendered its decision, the prosecutor moved to drop the case, and the District court granted the motion on June 26, 2001.

Marksmanship Fundementals from Lon Horiuchi
Oh, is this the guy that killed Randy Weaver's wife by shooting her in the head while she was holding their 10-month old son? Awesome shot.
