I gotta say, I never really cared much for this guy until I payed attention to the words to this song. He's done a great job of celebrating the finer points of redneck lifestyle. Also, I liked the (unintentional?) Violent Femmes reference.

Actually this is a pretty good representation of whats been getting a lot of play lately, I was supprised my ipod represented me so well! Johnny Cash didnt make it to the list... that was kind of a bummer...

Liz Phair did a version for the Saturday Morning Cartoons' Greatest Hits CD. It also had The Ramones doing "Spiderman," Juliana Hatfield doing "Josie and the Pussycats," and the Violent Femmes doing "Eep Opp Ork Ah-Ah."
