Looks like a full year long $30000+ Total restoration to me…for a car he looks at once a year.
If that’s really what mom would have wanted, she was either not too bright or was incredibly wasteful.
I also dislike sappy emotional commercials that try to tug at your heart as a way into your wallet.

I often go to nursing homes, hospices and peoples homes to do body removals. One thing that always tugs at my heart is to see the deceased with nearly freshly painted fingernails and toenails.

I look at the end of this video with this woman wearing handcuffs and I see her red fingernails and wonder who painted them for her.

Saw this a while back on YouTube - plenty of professional electricians in the comments there who say they got so many callbacks on Wago, but never for wire-nut.

Personally I've had one fail (I didn't install it though) - my bathroom which was partially remodeled < 2 years prior, the light above the sink started flickering randomly. I checked each bulb, they were fine, so I opened up the switch box - and there were some of those Wago-style (a cheaper knock-off I suspect) that were quite loose when tugged. So I removed them, used wire-nuts, and it's been totally stable since.
The other benefit to wire-nuts is that twisting the copper wires around each other greatly increases the contacting surface area. (the surface of a wire is where the electrons/holes flow)

Self Exploratory tugging is ok.

Apparently the result of strong winds, the port authority asking the ship to move to a more sheltered area of the harbor, and tug boats not being available to assist.

My thought was it folds the barbs sideways so they don't hook in as well. Clearly they still catch some, but likely less than just tugging.

I still use one of those double edged razors, works soooooo much better than the new ones.

EDIT: If you are wondering, the new razor containers have a slot in the back to slide the used ones in. They also last for a lot longer than one shave, usually about 2 weeks if I shave every day. You can tell when they start slightly tugging at the hairs prior to cutting them. They are a lot cheaper than normal disposable razors as well.

I see a lot of drivers that seem to think that, if they cede the right of way to a pedestrian as required by law it's some kind of personal favor, and the lowly pedestrian should tug his forelock, say "thank you baas", and run.

I'm thinking that the bag was open at the bottom when Teller stepped in. He stays upright long enough for us to see that his head is in the bag, then quickly crouches, pops under at the bottom, and seals the bag after himself.

He tugs gently on the bottom to remain hidden, and so the guy holding the string doesn't notice the weight change.

We never get to see the bottom, because the lights are still too dim immediately after he is revealed.

The helium quickly lifts the bag too high for us to see the bottom, but it does have a sort of heart shape at one point, suggesting a seal in the middle of the bottom, rather than the straight edge a factory-made bag would have.

If she did it properly, and tugged a bit under her arms and towards the back, she'd be fine.

You know I agree with you, right? I am the one who said that this incident is the worst example of racism, after all.

To me, things like this are just more proof that every person who interacts with police should treat them like dangerous people they have the potential to be and show absolutely nothing but abject subservience. Because you absolutely can't trust them, whether you are white or not.

It can get you shot, making your point that "you can't do this to me" patently untrue. They can and they do.

So unless you are mentally ill or intent on "suicide by police", allow the humiliation and tug at your forelock.
