Told Baristan to check out a guitar I fell in love with the second I picked it up and played it- Tom Anderson Guitarworks-Small-batch luthier, he cut his teeth on his process with Gibson and Fender I believe, incredible axe, but you wait and pay for it.

oxdottirI wanted to like it, Lucky. Really I did. I hate American Idol, but there are people who came into the American Scene via American Idol who I enjoy, Like Jennifer Hudson, but this overblown rendition of a sweet little song just misses the point and it is exactly the reason I thought I *didn't* want to see "Across the Universe" until Videosift showed me that there were some powerful versions of those songs. This sort of Beatle interpretation makes me cringe. (Imagine me warbling that last sentence will full tremelo and some liberal interpretation of the notes in a major scale.)
