Not every school or parent teaches them about contraceptives. In fact, you will find most 'Christians" only support abstinence. Third, the people who are most affected by this new law are the people that can least afford the better contraceptives or having a child in a non-stable family environment. Those kids from poor families will just be forced to have the kid and likely it will ruin their lives. This doesn't even take into account that the new law doesn't have ANY exceptions for rape or incest.

Fourth, the USA was founded on religious freedom. In other words, you get to believe what you want and others get to do the same. I went to college for over ten years with no plan for any degree...but accidentally qualified for a general science degree anyway. I've never seen a successful career as the road to happiness, so many successful professionals are miserable...same goes for wealth. I've always thought, when you find yourself in want of something, don't ask the universe to give you more, ask it to help you want less. That road leads to contentment and happiness. Does that mean I have more, or less common sense than average? It definitely makes me abnormal, many would say unsuccessful....I think they measure success wrong.
