ctrlaltbleachI think this technology will be more useful when automated cars begin to take over the market. If you have a company that basically runs a automated taxi service the car can pull up on its own and get recharged. I also think the general servicing of the car will eventually go that route as well.
/sigh Are we really that far gone that we can't even recharge on our own anymore?
Spose it would be helpful for people that constantly forget to charge the car, it's a bit more difficult to deal with than leaving your phone till it's only got 10% left on it.

oritteropo$14k is more than a business class airfare, but less than first class return to Europe... I would guess that the speaker went first class and her staff went business class. The $5k was for a helicopter charter, not ground transport... it's only an hours drive, so not more than $200 for a taxi or a government car.
I am equally bewildered about Abbott and Harper. All I can say is that I think my countrymen were rather naive... it was obvious to me that the claims he was making prior to the election were so ridiculous that the best thing for the country was for him to simply turn around after the election and say "I lied!"... and he has pretty much gone back on every claim, only without actually admitting he lied.
I'm not sure what happened to Canada, either.
Maybe one day I'll have to move to New Zealand...

I can hardly leave the house without seeing one. Often, on the highway, I have a Tesla in front of me, and one behind. They are everywhere here, as there is 1. Lots of people who are well of, and 2.Lots of tax incentives for electric cars, (and other pros like they can use the Taxi lane) and 3. insanely high gas prices. There is also a supercharger 5 mins from my home, and a dealership 15 minutes away, So I guess that helps

Debunking MSG myth
ChaosEngineTrue story: I once got tear gassed in Paris. I was in a taxi going down a narrow lane. The woman driving in front of us stopped to go into a bakery blocking traffic. When she came back out the taxi driver called her something unspeakable in French. She threw a canister at us and for the next 10 minutes I couldn't see and I could barely breathe.
Because of this, Paris is an awful place and I've never been back. That may not mean anything to you, but it made a difference in my life. So dismiss it as an anecdote all you want. But you'll never convince me or anyone else who went through this experience. Be thankful you never had to.
How easy you must find it to criticize and dismiss when you're not the one who has suffered. Do you think people who are sensitive to MSG want to be like that? They want to hate on MSG just for the hell of it? Make stuff up? Revel in their ignorance?
I went to this particular restaurant because it was a family tradition and I had little choice in the matter. I went through years of suffering before I had ever heard of MSG. One day I read somewhere about Chinese restaurants and MSG and from that day on, my suffering was at an end. That may not mean anything to you, but it made a difference in my life. So dismiss it as an anecdote all you want. But you'll never convince me or anyone else who went through this experience. Be thankful you never had to.
