Ask trump if he broke the law by possessing the documents, what does he say?

"I DECLASSIFIED THOSE" - but classification status isn't in question - and the documents are not declassified. ANDDDD it doesn't matter if they're classified or not, it's POSESSION of the documents that breaks the law.

ANNNNNNNNNND

After trump went to office HE is the one who made punishments for possessing documents that usually travel around in a handcuffed suitcase - HE is the one who made that particular law harsher and more enforceable as part of his campaign against Hillary Clinton.

Here's a full transcript of trump's first press conference where he lays out in some detail how people who handle or mishandle classified info or top secret documents are traitors and he explains what to do about them https://www.nytimes.com/2017/02/16/us/politics/donald-trump-press-conference-transcript.html

Good start, but Is a $2000 fine punishment enough for voting fraudulently at least twice, and blaming political enemies for his crimes? You conveniently ignored the question.
IMO, he should see serious prison time and the fine should be at least 10 times what it is….any fraudulent voter should.

He’s the poster boy for your election fraud fraud. No “mea culpa”? No “I guess maybe we should rethink our claims”? Nope, just some whataboutism over long ago debunked and totally made up nonsense you clearly still believe, gullible rube that you are.

If such a thing had happened, absolutely the state should go after them, not the Trump mob that tried to lynch them and continues to threaten their lives daily, but since this is another moronic, long ago debunked right wing hallucination and fabrication, investigated by the state and found to be ignorant supposition by the right not subversion by the left, that’s a flat no.
🤦‍♂️

“What you saw – the secret suitcase with magic ballots – were actually ballots that had been packed into those absentee ballot carriers by the workers in the plain view of the monitors and the press,” -Georgia Election System Implementation Manager Gabriel Sterling

Democrats get accused of the crimes Republicans keep getting convicted of….because you morons really hate yourselves, but you aren’t adult enough to admit that so you project. Remember all those attempted cop killings and bombings last summer that outraged you until it became clear they were largely right wing white supremacists shooting police, lighting fires, and setting bombs….then suddenly those crimes weren’t an issue? You’re so transparent.

Good catch and he should be punished.

Lets also go after that Atlanta mother and daughter who pulled out a few suitcases of fake votes and ran them through the machines all night long giving the Biden spike... You down for that?

Remember Kirk Hartle? He’s the Republican Nevada man whose dead wife’s ballot was used to vote last year. The poster boy for voter fraud, claiming his wife’s ballot had been stolen (twice) and used to vote in Nevada elections, twice. For weeks he was trotted out as the proof of widespread liberal voter fraud, they clearly stole ballots and fraudulently used them to stuff ballot boxes.

He plead guilty to reduced charges of voting more than once in an election, sentenced today to one year probation and $2000 fine. Your poster boy turns out to be the perpetrator. D’oh! Who could have seen that coming? (Everyone)

Do you think that’s a harsh enough sentence? Consider he actually did it twice.
If he were a Democrat doing the same thing, rigging elections and accusing Republicans of being the culprits in a national disinformation campaign, would you accept such a weak slap on the wrist? Basically selling extra votes for $1000 a piece?

Trump's Star Witness Is A Drunk Karen

greatgooglymoogly says...

Here's a video showing the "suitcases under a table" and mostly debunking it. They do come to the conclusion that "press and party monitors were not given notice counting would continue into the early morning hours, and they should have been." There was a secretary of state monitor present, but obviously both parties should be given the option of having monitors present for any and all counting.

Trump's Star Witness Is A Drunk Karen

Of the 20+ hours of people speaking you cherry pick a few.

I personally think that 70% can be explained away in a legit way.

However when election law is not followed, as these people have said,
Poll watchers and other republican officials are imitated, and removed, which is against the law,

when completed ballots cross state lines ( NY to PA) ,

When officials tell every to to go home and that the counting for the evening has stopped then pull out suitcases a t from under tables after officials and being run through the machines with out poll watchers there is fraud going on and must be looked into.

BARR comes out sand says what he said, What did FBI,DOJ look at? Not 1 investigation has taken place or finished.

This isn't over. Trump still has fight in him.

Those 20+ hours of hearings and meetings have 200,000 to 500,000 viewers watching on line. Too bad Fake news only telling the story of what sock color Biden is wearing.

newtboy said:

This, @bobknight33, is your "evidence" of fraud, ridiculous claims by clearly crazy hyperbolic people that in no way resembles the verifiable facts.

Thousands of dead people voting? Not according to election officials, the DOJ, the FBI, the records of who voted, and the system designed to catch such frauds. Actually there were some attempts, but only a few Republicans voting as their dead relatives were found, not even double digits.
A woman who says all Chinese people look alike so their votes don't count. That's your second best evidence of fraud.

D'oh. That's not smoke you're eating, it's Biden's dust.

This nonsense has already been investigated by the Secretary of state who's investigators watched the entire video, not just a <90 second clip, and found it to be perfectly normal processing of ballots under supervision, not hidden suitcases brought in after supervisors left. More right wing nutjobs misrepresenting the facts.
More fake news for president poopy pants.

🤦‍♂️

Don't you ever get tired of repeating lies?

Btw, how did you like Trump advisor and convict Flynn calling for martial law and a military coup? Remember, anything you support today is totally fair game for Biden, no matter how unconstitutional or destructive.

Beverly Hills Cop - Cigarette Truck

What was in the green suitcases being loaded into the green cab parked next to an empty lot?

Seriously, was Coles Truckin selling ICE Cold Watermelons and Bananas in the hood?

This explains why your luggage didn't make it on the plane

newtboy says...

My first thought was it's one of the self driving suitcases malfunctioning.
My second thought was it's a self driving suitcase that's been reprogrammed to deliver it's payload to a certain plane.
If either is correct, I expect self propelled luggage to be banned immediately, so I really hope it's just strong wind and good wheels.

Britain Leaving the EU - For and Against, Good or Bad?

radx says...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the referendum is not legally binding, is it?

So what happens if the plebs vote in favor of Brexit?

Brussels dispatches men in finely-tailored suits to London, with goodies in their suitcases. Politicians become supremely motivated to convince the plebs of the wrongness of their views -- or they take their continental brethren as an example and just ignore the plebs altogether.

Jokes aside, it might very well be a vote to leave a sinking ship.

Anyone here really think the EU can survive the groupthink-induced fixation on austerity? Anyone seen the economics data coming from Italy lately? Greece? Spain? France? Anyone think Italy can be in a single currency with Germany under German control? Anyone think the EU can survive the fall of the Euro or the departure of significant member countries?

The way I see it, the EU cannot survive economic orthodoxy. Greece is dying, Italy is bleeding from every orifice. Even as a strong supporter of a unified Europe, including Russia(!), I cannot support the EU in its current form -- it's rotten to the core and dominated by groupthink.

And with all that in mind, the fact still remains that the EU kept the Tories somewhat in check in many regards. What a disheartening situation...

Star Citizen Alpha 2.0 Gameplay Trailer

VoodooV says...

For vaporware...it's amazingly....existant

It's funny to watch Star Citizen truther trolls claim it doesn't exist when there are hundreds of thousands of people who have played it and the numerous livestreams out there on youtube.

An earlier version is on my computer that I can play right now.

But yeah, keep pretending that it's some grand conspiracy perpetrated by the mustache-twirling Chris Roberts....who would have gotten away with it too..if it weren't for that meddling Derek Smart.

I got my invite to the PTU earlier this week. Sadly, I'm not going to bother with it because 1. my video card is shitty and can barely load the game in it's current state and 2, they're constantly patching it and the patches are huge and I just don't want the hassle.

I'm curious what the next excuse will be when the game is released? @Jinx, @rancor can you enlighten me? Generally the just switch some other trivial gripe instead of admitting they were wrong.

No faith is required @OverLord. The game exists and is playable albeit still in pre-pre-pre-pre alpha. The only difference is that you never hear about regular games until they've had years of development already done. With Star Citizen, we've known about the development right from the very beginning, we've seen the game grow from the basic hangar module that was first released to what it is now...warts and all.

If it were a hoax, it's the most inefficient hoax of all time. Let's waste lots of money hiring A-list actors for the single player campaign that, were it a hoax, we could just run off with the money. And tell me..what is the supposed end game for this hoax? Is Chris and Sandi going to skip town with a suitcase full of money cackling maniacally as they twirl their mustaches? Any damsels tied to the train tracks I should know about that need rescuing?

Is this our future? No more public gatherings? All it takes is a phone call and an abandoned suitcase. They don't even have to blow themselves up any more.

Sidenotes:

1. I learned there is a thing called a "friendly." Football is such a shared thing, you don't even have to say the noun. The adjective is enough.

2. Silly story -- I live in a small town that for years had only one prefix on the phone numbers. 385. Folks wouldn't even give the entire phone number. If your number was 385-1234, you'd just say 1234. The town grew, fax machines came into vogue, and they had to add a prefix 379 to handle the increased need for phone numbers.

But old habits die hard, yeah? I'm a 385-1234. The new assistant police chief got 379-1234. Guess who got his phone calls all the time? Because people were on autopilot when dialing?

Folks would leave a message on my answering machine and I would pass it on. After all, I knew his phone number.

My favorite message for a long time was this: "Hi Connor. This is Jim. Ted tells me you have the key to City Hall." Such a small town, I knew the occupations and last names of everyone named in that message. Still cracks me up.

My most favorite message, though, is the last one I ever got. "Connor, just wanted you to know that the bomb squad has been called. An abandoned suitcase has been found at the Post Office." Well! Talk about breaking news! I passed on the message, per usual.

There must have been bloody hell raised at the police station about such sensitive info being left on the wrong answering machine, because I never got another wrong number about official police business.

I love how stories build.

taking drugs can be fun and the law should reflect that

poolcleaner says...

Look, drugs are bad, okay? My grams did cocaine for so many years, she's barely pushing 98 without the fear of owl brains pouring out of suitcases at 9 in the morning. It's like the gray that unfathomably drips aerosol from the airplane in my parakeet canal. What.

EEVBlog - Hobbyist Arrested For Bringing Homemade Clock

csnel3 says...

Arrogant ranting?? That hurt.
anyway... if you just google his dad, Muhammad Muhammad, I'm sure you will see he has a political agenda , ie : Islam acceptance.
Do you expect the whole thinking world to believe that the son of a Muslim activist whose whole agenda is to accept Islam , built a suitcase clock and took it to school and ignored his teachers advice (4 times)to get rid of it AND refused to explain to the authorities why he had done so. Do you expect us to believe this bullshit story?

NicoleBee said:

I'm sorry, I don't know what to tell you. I asked for some further information about your other message, and got arrogant ranting in return. I do have access to the news. I'm especially interested in what you said about the dad and how he is supposed to figure into things.

Gillian Jacobs robbed on a train

CaptainObvious says...

So apparently this happens quite a bit on overnight trains. Found numerous articles including the following.

http://bobarno.com/thiefhunters/train-theft-p3/

"KNOCK-OUT GAS ON OVERNIGHT TRAINS - Atul and Smriti Shah experienced it first-hand. “It happened during the night,” they concluded. “The entire compartment was sprayed with some sort of gas that knocked us out. Then our suitcase was slowly extracted from under our seat, the lock twisted loose and, with all the time in the world, the suitcase was looted....”"
